That is incredible Linda, though doesn't surprise me. Must admit I did giggle. You go in for a scan on your knee, and come out needing a hip replacement :-D.

Could have been worse, if you hadn't had the letter. You may at a later date been called in for a procedure on your knee, and ended up with a hip replacement you neither needed, or wanted.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party. :-(

Sorry to see that OH is no better. Suppose whatever he has will have to run its course. It is extremely thoughtful of you to delay being ill yourself until he recovers :-D

Got up this morning to a light covering of snow, very unusual here. Some roads not far away are blocked.

Keep warm, and rest when you can.

Well there is a turn up for the books.
The ground was bone dry this morning so I walked to the doctors. The air temperature was incredibly low, very odd breathing in.

Anyway the doctor tells me that I am on the waiting list for a hip replacement, news to me as I only have a bad knee. he showed me the letter he got from the consultant which has all my details on the top, but goes on to tell me that I am 67 and a part time bookkeeper. I dont think so!

After my first consultant appointment, I did receive a letter telling me that I was on the waiting list for a procedure. I did write back and ask if they had sent the wrong letter out as I was waiting for an MRI scan. They must have sorted me out as Ihave now had my scan but don't go for the results until the end of the month

I hope the poor lady who needs the new hip isn't sent for an MRI on her knee

OH is still in bed and I have revised the diagnosis to real flu (or virus anyway) not man flu. On the way back from the doctors, I chatted to our neighbours who go to the same gym session as OH, they are just getting over a nasty flu type bug which took three weeks to get over. :-(

I dont feel very well at all, but have OH to look after, so I will have to wait until he is better for my turn to be ill

Goodnight Linda - Have a good sleep, hope you are both better tomorrow.

I will also be off - have something to do before bed.

Enjoy your day so whatever you do with it,

Goodnight,
Tec

I had better go to bed, I had a really good nights sleep last night as OH has been banished to the spare room. He is still there, so I will tuck him in on the way to bed :-D

I will be careful Sue, don't worry. Have a nice day

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 1 Feb 2015 22:53

Be careful Linda - the alleyways will not have been gritted.

We are very lucky here, we rarely get a problem with ice on the road.
Once we get near to Dolthingy it can be very bad with ice and snow.

The mountains are covered in snow and look beautiful

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 1 Feb 2015 22:50

The road outside is no parking all the way along. If there isn't a space, I Will have to park in the market pace and walk through one of the alley ways

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 1 Feb 2015 22:48

Oh dear - do take care on the roads. I do worry :-(

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 1 Feb 2015 22:47

if it's the doctor's carpark, you may have to wait for a space - we sometimes have that problem with our doctor's, but sometimes space in the road nearby.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 1 Feb 2015 22:44

My thoughts exactly. The only problem is getting a parking space

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 1 Feb 2015 22:42

It will be treacherous enough in the car :-0

but better than walking on the ice.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 1 Feb 2015 22:40

I just looked out and it is icy out there, but no snow.

I have a doctors appointment first thing tomorrow, so I think I will take the car in case I fall down on the ice
