SueMaid

SueMaid Report 4 Feb 2015 21:46

No I'm not unfortunately although I could save myself. Most people I know know can swim. It is very important that children are taught from an early age because we have too many backyard pool drownings. Also a number of African and Asian people are drowned in the ocean as it's not really in their culture to swim for recreation.

I used to make Anzac biscuits when the family were young. Nice chewy ones and very easy to make. They made good lunchbox fillers and after school snacks.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Feb 2015 21:37

We will ask Sue. Are you a good swimmer Sue?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Feb 2015 21:37

It was a good goal :-)

There is a farm shop near Bala belonging to the estate of the Marquis of Anglesea - quite expensive, but they do excellent ginger biscuits, rather like the ones you describe Linda.

I believe all Australians are excellent swimmers, must be to do with the climate and access to the sea maybe.
