I should imagine they would be very cross if they turned up and you weren't in, after making an appointment. An appointment made by them.

Then you would have to phone them to make another appointment. Grrr.

Maybe she will come tomorrow, which means I have to be up, wide eyed, and bushy tailed again from 9 am, just in case. More Grrr

The nurse doesn't seem reliable at all, as you are better, just go out when you want and let her catch up with you

That's it, I've been and I'm back.
So annoying when you wait in all day and they don't turn up - a quick phone call wouldn't hurt.

At our doctors there is usually a ten day wait to get an appointment, but if you phone by 8-30am they will normally get you in the same day, if you are ill. Usually it's at the end of surgery, unless there has been a cancellation.

It is perishing cold out there. Only saw one man and a dog while I was out.

I think half the town has it, it is too late to get an appointment this week, so I hope he picks up over the weekend

It's been a bright sunny day here, but freezing cold.
Been waiting since 9am for nurse to come. I need to pop to the village shop, so if not here by 5-15pm will just go out.

I did go out front to dead head the winter pansies that are putting on a cheerful show in white, orange, yellow, and red. A few crocus out, and the tete a tete are showing.

Maybe OH should see the doctor - that chest infection is lingering a bit.

What a horrible cold day. I had to venture to the sorting office to collect a parcel which they tried to deliver when I was out yesterday. I picked up a bit of shopping in the square on the way back and commiserated with various people who have or have had the bug which is going round

OH is worse today than he was yesterday, he has a nasty chesty cough and has spent most of the day in bed

we had a very nice coffee break :-)



OH is either a grumpy old man or the major domo ..................... depending on which act


He has to wear white tights (!!!), and flat shoes



He puts his own foundation on ............... I taught him how to do that some years ago.


But then I have to use an eyeliner pencil to darken his eyebrows, and to highlight the "wrinkle" marks from nose to mouth


This time, I don't have to put the eyeliner around his eyes






at least I no longer have to put on "blush" or lipstick ................... he hasn't had to use those for the last 2 or 3 shows




so now you know :-)
