Hello Sylvia,

We have dry but very cold weather, while you have wet and warm. Our wet and warm may arrive in March. Hopefully :-)

Sue - Don't worry - I won't turn up with my white cotton inspection gloves on. :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 5 Feb 2015 22:22

This young fellow is really over the top but he's so nice. He told my OH that I have a beautiful soul that shines through and that he adores me :-D OH just glanced at me and winked.

Today I am going to tidy the spare room as it's quite untidy. Wouldn't like you to turn up Tec and find your room isn't up to your standards :-D

I also laughed at Sue's OH's reaction!

Like Tec, I've had many gay friends, and super camp can be very amusing

I had one friend who would do it deliberately, if he thought it would evoke a reaction :-D

Hi everyone

it's warm and wet here ...................... +11C and pouring with rain

we either have the Pineapple Express roaring through for the next 2 or 3 days ........................ or a series of "subtropical storms" :-S

depends on which weather forecaster is talking

the storms do originate in the Pacific south of Hawaii :-0

Tecwyn Report 5 Feb 2015 22:16

I did laugh at your OHs reaction to the very camp young man Sue :-D

I've known many gay men, and had gay friends, but the very camp ones do make me laugh.
I should imagine that to someone who has never experienced camp young men it can be quite startling. :-D

I have just realised they have outdoor pools of course :-(

SueMaid Report 5 Feb 2015 22:03

I don't know Linda but two school swimming carnivals were called off yesterday because of rain :-S. Seems silly to us but perhaps the teachers don't want to get wet :-0

So funny yesterday. we had a couple of errands yesterday that took us out and about. One of the things I did was drop off some plastic pots to a young man who is making some money propagating plants. I've met him before and he is gay and very very camp. OH met him yesterday. OH isn't homophobic in any way but the bemused look on his face while listening to this young fellow talk was so funny :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Feb 2015 21:52

Hello Sue,

I hope the swimming carnival isn't called off.

It was annoying staying in all day for nothing.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Feb 2015 21:47

Why would the swimming be called off Sue?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 5 Feb 2015 21:44

Hello everyone. Miserable day again. I do hope Joel's swimming carnival isn't called off. He would be devastated :-(

Linda - once that chest infection takes hold it's very hard to shake. I hope your OH starts to feel better over the weekend. This nasty virus has really laid him low.

How annoying waiting all day for the nurse and she doesn't show up :-( I'd be growling too.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Feb 2015 21:40

Not exactly, but I've seen her on a mission.

Lovely lady, and a good friend, but can be a bit full on - just her way :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Feb 2015 21:32

You are obviously speaking from experience :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Feb 2015 21:15

You don't :-D

once she's on a mission - heaven help you :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Feb 2015 21:13

I think I need her to be strict with me :-(

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Feb 2015 21:09

No - strict rule, only one biscuit a day. Sue keeps his weight down because he has arthritis in his front legs.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Feb 2015 21:05

He would have to have extra biscuits

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Feb 2015 20:59

He wouldn't, he would just look hurt, then I would feel guilty :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 5 Feb 2015 20:57

Milo would if you growled at him

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Feb 2015 20:54

I don't do charming before at least two cups of coffee. :-0

One benefit of my new life is that I don't have to pretend to be charming first thing in the morning - I can growl at inanimate objects, and they don't growl back :-D
