Yes I think the DVD players are meant to be in the back of the car :-D

Them and iPads are perfect for entertaining the children on a long journey

Hi everyone

more heavy rain overnight and thsi morning ................. that was the 4th subtropical storm this week.

The 5th one is due in tomorrow :-(

There is also a cold front come down from Alaska which is meeting these Pacific storms in the interior of the province .................. meaning they are gettng heavy snow

A place called Kitimat which is on the north coast, about 400 miles north of here, got about 4' of snow in 24 hours from Thursday into Friday ................. yes, I did say 4 FEET :-0

Needless to say ............. that was a record! The previous record was set in 1961.

Hello Sue,

Sitting in the sunshine underneath the pergola sounds wonderful to me - lucky you :-D

Good morning Sue.

I hope the DVD players are in the back Tec :-D

The iPad is very useful in the back of the car to keep Eve occupied. They just download a movie for her, or episodes of children's programmes and she happily watches them in long journeys

Hello :-)

I like a quiet house when I'm on my own. OH likes a good movie so has a collection of favourites. We do listen to some cd's.

Nice and sunny here today - the forecast is for a very warm day. Yesterday turned into a lovely sunny day after a miserable start. We spent the afternoon sitting and reading under the pergola. Very relaxing :-)

I also have a few CDs in the car, but usually have the radio on.

I believe some people have DVD players in their car

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Feb 2015 21:18

We never played them, I actually have copies of the cd;s I like which I keep in the car, not that I play them either

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Feb 2015 21:12

I meant DVDs - silly me.
Shame that you gave them all away.

I don't often play DVDs, but often have a CD on during the day if the radio is boring.
I like some noise in the house, but not loud.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Feb 2015 21:09

We don't have a video player anymore, we do have a dvd player, but OH just gave most of our dvd's and music cd's to the charity shop

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Feb 2015 20:49

I am tired tonight, I feel like watching something on TV, but it is all rubbish

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Feb 2015 20:47

Im not surprised :-0
The very last thing he needs is to be out there working in the cold - that would be asking for trouble.

The fence will wait

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Feb 2015 20:36

He was supposed to be at our sons house this weekend, building a fence, but obviously put it off

I just watched the rugby in passing.

Will probably take your OH quite a few days to get back to feeling 100%. That kind of bug can really drag you down, even the fittest.

Will probably visit the Duchess tomorrow.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Feb 2015 20:09

Hello Tec,
OH watched the other rugby matched today as he still isn't feeling up to doing much

I went to the supermarket and pottered about doing bits and pieces. then made a vegetable curry for dinner

It's been sunny here too, but very cold of course.
Fantastic sunset this evening, crimson sky tinged with green over the sea.

Decided to stay in today. Did some work on my fish tank to keep the fishes happy.
Lit the fire this evening, so all cosy now.
