Poor Milo - 14 years is old for a lurched.

We are having a very strange summer, Tec. Lots of rain and very humid. Some very hot days and a lot of days below average temperature. Hobart has had no summer at all.

I hope he wakes up at the same time as the twins

Tec , unfortunately Milo has been getting a bit incontinent the past few days , I've taken to laying bin bags and old bath towels on the furniture in the places he likes to lay down , his bed in the bedroom was quite wet the other morning :-( and he is beginning to get a " lost " look in his old eyes . I think the sad day is approaching but hopefully not quite just yet .

Amanda - if you were in the Brownies you'd be covered in badges :-D

Poor old Milo - but the old boy is doing very well. It's good that he wakes you in the night, as disturbing as that must be.

Sue , I hope you're enjoying the rain .

Tec , I need a Nanny hats with 11 points on it :-D

Linda , I haven't slept a night through in ages to be honest . Our old dog has started waking us up at least twice a night to go out and do his business , he really is a poor addled old thing these days . On valentines day we will have had his for 14 years ! <3

Amanda I think that you deserve a new nannies hat :-D

Sue - what kind of summer are you having overall. It seems very mixed.

I should sleep while you can Amanda :-D

Hello Sue :-D Yes , everything is ready and waiting , well almost . She is after a different moses basket as one of the ones she had been given isn't up to exacting standards ....lol
I'm glad the bitter cold weather has broken , ours it not a warm house ( well certainly not by hospital expectations ) , would want the poor little things going into shock !

That's good news Amanda :-) I hope Megan has everything ready for the babies - hospitals have a habit of giving very little notice when they decide to send babies home.

Raining here but it's nice and cool so I'm not complaining. Yesterday was very humid and we had quite a bit of running around to do.

Amanda2003 Report 9 Feb 2015 22:10

Tec , my Nannies hat is never off these days <3

Amanda2003 Report 9 Feb 2015 22:09

Hello Linda , I don't understand why you can't see the picture ? I'll ask Meg to tag me in it perhaps that would work .
Yes , Orion has the all clear , I'm sorry that I didn't get back and say so , I thought I had :-0 :-S
Orion has been under the light for jaundice a couple of times but is feeding well and both of them are almost back to their birth weights :-D

Tecwyn Report 9 Feb 2015 22:09

That is good news Amanda - hopefully then they will be home by the weekend. :-)

Have you got your nannies hat on? :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 9 Feb 2015 22:08

That is good news, sitting around in the neo natal units gets very trying after a while

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 9 Feb 2015 22:05

Hello Tec and Linda :-)

My daughter has officially been discharged herself but she won't come home without the babies ( and obviously the hospital are not expecting her to ) , she did pop back for a few hours yesterday . Fingers crossed they may be home by the end of the week , especially as apparently the neo natal until is jam packed at the moment ! as long as neither baby needs any more jaundice treatment they should get the all clear fairy soon :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 9 Feb 2015 22:02

I can't see the photo
Has Orion got the all clear now

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 9 Feb 2015 22:01

Thank goodness you've arrived Amanda :-D

Good that the little family can have some time together for the first time since the twins arrive.

Is there any sign that they can all go home yet?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 9 Feb 2015 21:59

That is good news Amanda, I will go and look

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 9 Feb 2015 21:58

Well, I think suggesting Sue sleeps in a tent on the Yorkshire Dales in Winter, and threatening to throw her off the bus is pretty mean :-0

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 9 Feb 2015 21:56

Goodness me , such ribbing going on here ! now now ladies :-0

By way of a distraction , my daughter has just posted a beautiful photo of the boys on her facebook and I've shared it to my wall . The twins have been allowed into her room at the hospital ( actually she and her OH have both been staying together in the parents room at the hospital ) , so , it's their first night together as a family :-D <3 <3 <3
