Your relaxing morning sounds nice, except I can't bear having my feet touched

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 21:27

You don't have to Sue, Tec is going to share with you , he will go at the bottom and you and your OH at the top. You can pretend you are reliving your family history where they all shared beds :-D

They assured me there were no marks, bruises, or cuts, and that she was fine.

When I ranted at them I told them that I needed to know if she as much as looked sideways - they do seem to have taken notice. ;-)

Hello :-)

Poor Duchess - I hope she is ok. It's good the staff keep you informed Tec.

I'm not sleeping in a tent :-|

I had a nice morning yesterday. I had my nails done and a pedicure. Very relaxing :-)

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 21:13

I hope she is OK, it is good that you have them on their toes

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Feb 2015 21:09

I will wait and see what it's like in the morning, if it's not too windy I will visit.

Had a phone call today to say that she had fallen, but there was no damage done, and she was fine.

They tend to phone me now if she as much as sneezes, since I blasted them for not keeping me informed when things happened.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 21:05

I always thought you had already lost it, so don't worry :-D

Will you be able to get to see the Duchess tomorrow, or is it going to be too windy

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Feb 2015 21:02

Don't tell anyone Linda - they will think I'm losing it :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 20:59

No one will ever know Tec :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Feb 2015 20:48

Well, while I would never admit it publicly, I did find myself talking to the big teddy the other day :-D :-D :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 20:46

That is only because you want to play with them :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Feb 2015 20:43

Well she never stays here anymore, so I don't think she'll mind.
I will keep the dolls and teddies that are all arranged in the Lloyd Loom chair :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 20:36

She might be very upset if you do it, I hope you will ask her first

The steamer makes quick work of stripping wallpaper, but I'd rather not use it now.

Grand daughter's room needs doing as well.
It still has Winnie The Poo stickers all around the walls, and a fairy mobile hanging off the light.

She will be 21 in July :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 20:27

They will be cross with you for doing it. Wallpaper steamers are excellent things, I used one this year at my sons house. I can see why you wouldn't feel safe though.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Feb 2015 20:27

Excuse me :-0

I didn't make any mess in the bar.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Feb 2015 20:25

Yes I have been stripping wallpaper again.

Not the top floor, but the bedroom that my daughter uses when she is here.
I can only strip what I can get to, as I can't move the furniture.

Daughter and SIL said they would do it, but I thought if I did what I can, it will give them a head start.

Unfortunately, the paper leaves the backing paper behind, so I have to wet it and scrape.
I do have a steamer, but don't feel safe using it now from the wheelchair.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 20:24

I was just clearing up some of the mess you left in case they charged us for extra cleaning

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 13 Feb 2015 20:16

Well if you will remain in the bar when everyone else had gone to bed :-(

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 20:16

Have you been stripping wallpaper again? Is this on the top flor?
