Next time I get a renewal notice I will have look around.

Sue, I don't know why I wrote such a long post :-D got carried away rather.

Old men do ramble - so you must pull me up if I go into a long winded ramble :-D

I meant to say that I found your long post very interesting Tec - you have a nice way with words.

Goodness Tec, I bet you are paying way over the odds. We change the house insurance every year.

We have had the same car insurance company for three years, but have not just accepted the renewal price. We use a comparison site to get a better price, then ring the current one and ask them to match it, they usually do

SueMaid Report 13 Feb 2015 21:51

I know how you feel Linda - we are still dealing with the leaf guard people. OH sent them photos and now we will wait to be contacted again. They have agreed to waiver the call out fee which we weren't going to pay anyway :-|

I can bear my feet touched.

I always just accept my insurance renewal notice. Never occurs to me to shop around - been with the same people forever now.

You are very welcome Sue :-D

Shame to waste the bus. Pop groups and bands do it all the time.

Of course I would need a bacon butty and a mug of coffee brought out to me in the morning.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 13 Feb 2015 21:40

You are so kind Tec - thank you <3 :-D

A lot of people can't bear to have their feet touched. When I used to do foot massages at the hospital I had quite a few people say they would rather I massage their hands.

A sunny morning here promising to be hot again. Yesterday we had sunny, humid, windy and rain all in one day :-0

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 21:38

I never thought about sleeping in the bus, that is clever you Tec

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 13 Feb 2015 21:36

I did some housework this morning as we are away next week, so the house needs to be clean "just in case" :-D

I then went to the supermarket, well wee were low on wine and that would never do.

When we got back, we'd needed to do the renewal for the house insurance. We had the renewal notice but went on a comparison site an the best one was about thirty five pounds cheaper. We noticed the current one had us on auto renewal, so had to phone them up to cancel it. They said they couldn't lower their price so we waved them bye bye

While we were filling in the new one online, we noticed they had a mistake in the address, that meant we had to ring them up. So we had to go through it all again with a nice Welsh boy called Joseph.. By the time we had finished, I had lost the will to live and the price had gone up a little bit. Still it was about thirty pounds cheaper and the excesses were less.

Hello Sue, :-)

I am worried about you,

coming from an Aussie summer, into an English winter, when there could be deep snow where Linda is planning to take us.

So - in the name of chivalry, gallantry, and valour, I am willing to sleep in the bus while you have a room inside, instead of roughing it in the tent, probably ending up with pneumonia sp.
