Well you are very special Amanda, and much loved. :-)

The photo's are good. The cake looks delicious. Don't suppose there's any left :-0

The photo of your OH holding one of the twins is a classic. One can read volumes into that picture.

I'll take a look at your photo's Amanda. I did post a greeting on FB for you, but I don't think it actually happened.

I am learning, slowly, but surely :-D :-(

I've put some photos up on facebook if you would like to see the fun :-)

It did get rather lively here ......lol

I've been busy also collecting the rents on the allotments , I really ought to be facing the task of filling in the paying in book but I will leave that until tomorrow .

The Richmond Arms looks a good venue, and the location will be interesting.

I hope we don't get snowed in - on the other hand. :-D what fun.

Amanda, pleased that you had a good birthday, surrounded by your family. It sounds such fun.
:-D You are a much loved Nanny, and as you say, truly blessed.

Sorry I disappeared last night, they changed internet providers yesterday and the changeover was not that smooth. All is sorted now though

Thank you Tec :-)

I have had a wonderful day . A full house , packed to the seams with lively children and little babies <3 I really am most truly blessed .
I did a " Nanny tea party " and OH made me a scrummy carrot cake with my age in cherrys atop :-D

I am quite exhausted now but feeling very contented <3

We were supposed to go from here to Cockbridge in the highlands, but I can't find a pub, so on we go to

http://www.hopetounarms.co.uk/

This is the highest residential hotel in Britain, it has a full licence and eleven letting bedrooms. I thought it would let us get over the wigwams, but as we didn't stay in them, I don't think we need bother with this place as it us only a couple of miles from Wanlock edge and we have already been to the Leadhill mining museum

So onwards and upwards it is

Last of all in Scotland is the Richmond Arms Hotel in Tomintoul which Tec will be pleased to hear has wheelchair access. It has a bar as well as accommodation and restaurant. It is a long drive of three hours 48 minutes and sees us far north near Aberdeen

Hello Linda - pleased to see you have arrived safely. I imagine the girls were very pleased to see you both.

Tecwyn Report 15 Feb 2015 22:18

Apparently my nephew is a good father, and devotes all his spare time to them, despite having a responsible job.
I don't know how things will work out domestically. but yes little boys do need their mum, and I feel sorry for them
They are apparently very well behaved.

Linda I expect they will go to the beach if it's a nice day, especially as they live miles from the coast.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 15 Feb 2015 22:13

That is sad. How are you going to fit them all in? Five year old boys won't sit still, so maybe someone could take them for a run on the beach

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 15 Feb 2015 22:12

That is very sad Tec - for everyone but especially the boys :-( They are still of an age where they need their Mum but I'm sure your nephew will do a wonderful job bringing them up.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Feb 2015 22:02

No - my brother is excused jobs on this occasion.

The boys are five now, and yes I will be surprised at how they've grown.
Sadly my nephew's marriage has failed, and it looks like the boys will be staying with him.
Very sad.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 15 Feb 2015 21:55

You are going to be busy. Do you have some jobs lined up for your brother?

How old are the boys - I'm sure you'll get a surprise when you see them. Children grow so quickly. We are always amazed at how much the little ones in the family have grown.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Feb 2015 21:47

I was inspecting my pots today. Really I should empty out the pots with lily's in them, and replant in fresh compost. This must be their third year, but that's a big job, so I'll probably just top dress them, and feed them this year.

The other pots need replanting with something different - so that is definitely a trip tp the garden centre later on :-D

I have lots of visitors this week. My broth, SIL, sister from Yorkshire and the triplet boys, now five, who sister is baby sitting for the week are all coming here on Tuesday.
Then my daughter is visiting Wednesday and Thursday.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 15 Feb 2015 21:37

No I don't Tec - I have far too many. Then again..... :-D

How nice to have some sunny weather and that you were able to get out into the garden. Wisteria is lovely but can go crazy when left to grow.

We have another sunny warm day coming up. A good day to do some washing :-(

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Feb 2015 21:33
