I'm sure that you'll bake a nice cake for me when I visit Sue :-D

very partial to a nice Victoria sponge.

I am a very simple baker. No lavish cakes from me. I used to bake when the children were younger but as we don't eat cake often I don't bother now. I still make cupcakes with the grandchildren so I will keep some bakeware.

You are right of course Linda- throw something out and you are bound to need it.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Feb 2015 22:25

Well yes, there is that, but I'm sure she is.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Feb 2015 22:23

Of course we are assuming, she is good at baking :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Feb 2015 22:21

Yes, that could be a nice little earner, and pay for her fare when she comes back for her slippers. :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Feb 2015 22:16

Well instead of throwing the tins out,she could bake every day and have a cake stall at the end of the drive

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Feb 2015 22:12

There was I imagining Sue turning out all sorts of wonderful delicious cakes on a daily basis.

I am disappointed :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Feb 2015 22:10

You will rue it when you need them

In my last turn out, I threw out lots of computer cables. Now I need one, so I am going to have to buy one :-(

SueMaid

Yes I'm fighting fit :-)

Overcast again :-( The sun came out for awhile yesterday but not for long.

I've given myself the job of starting to clear out our kitchen cupboards. As I don't bake often there are loads of cake tins I can give away.

Well if there are dugongs in Wales, then maybe they could push me over the edge :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Feb 2015 21:50

A dugong is a marine mammal similar to a manatee. So Wikipedia says anyway

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Feb 2015 21:49

Hello Sue,

Those dugongs must be Yorkshire fish then :-D

I prefer to vote in person, but better postal than not at all

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Feb 2015 21:48

Hello Sue, are you fighting fit today

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Feb 2015 21:47

I had a postal vote last time because I was away, it is easier, though I normally go in person of course

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 23 Feb 2015 21:44

Hello :-). A dugong is a big fish :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Feb 2015 21:42

Maybe there are not enough consumers here to make it viable.

I can't be bothered with all the hassle of changing to oil.

anyway, I expect oil prices with go up again in due course.

I sent in an application today to do postal voting as it is difficult for me to get into the polling station now

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Feb 2015 21:35

It would probably cost too much to doit, so you are stuck with your expensive LPG

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Feb 2015 21:32

There is mains gas three miles either side of this village, but apparently it is not possible to bring it here because of the terrain.
I'm sue that they could if they followed the railway line along the coast

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Feb 2015 21:27

Oops, it was supposed to be don't

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Feb 2015 21:24
