I had baked potato with cheese, and caramel onion chutney

couldn't be bothered doing anything else

I liked baked potatoes with cheese and beans for ease. Or with corned beef and onions

Well of course you could have one, and maybe OH can have his when he comes home from the gym starving, having expelled all that energy :-D

the French did put in a lot of effort though, but made a lot of mistakes.

I am going to find something for dinner now - not hungry really.

OH goes to the gym on Monday morning, so I dont think he will want a bacon buttie beforehand. he could still make me one though :-D

oh they've made good progress with the fence. I expect it looks nice, as well as giving them some privacy. Will make a big difference.

Dinner was ready, then my daughter rang on Facetime and OH phoned at the same time

The fence is coming on, it is up and they have made the gate and got that on.There are just some boards to go on the back to stop people climbing on the rails. It should be done by lunchtime tomorrow,so OH will come home then

It's been a horrible day here, not really light all day, drizzly and dark.

This Welsh rugby match is boring.

I just went into the square this morning and got some shopping. it was sunny. This afternoon it clouded over and was miserable, so I just did some washing and cleaned the bathrooms. I wasted lots of time watching TV

coffee time was quite exciting ..................



8 City Firemen (in 2 Fire Service Trucks, not fire engines)

and


10 motorcycle policemen


all stopped by at the about the same time :-D :-D


The 10 motorcycles were all beautifully lined up at angles to the curb ........ gleaming and equally spaced apart :-)



One of the motorcycle police was a woman ............ I hadn't realised we did have a woman on that squad. It was nice to see




we actually arrived just after the firemen and a few minutes before the police, so we didn't have to wait, and got a table :-D
