Good afternoon Sylvia :-)

Hope you don't find the coffee shop full of firemen, and policemen today :-D

Sue - The children from that part of the world are delightful, and leave a lasting impression. Many live in poverty, and that also leaves an impression.

there was a huge procession in Chinatown, with several dragons, loads of dancers

Unfortunately it was raining :-)

Ho everyone

I just had a bacon butty for my lunch (a late lunch :-) )

I had to make it myself ................ and OH didn't even wash the frying pan for me :-(

I'm blaming that thread by Uzzi on General Chat for making me think of it :-)

Of course that counts Linda :-D
The owners of Chinese restaurants are usually nice people - if you ignore the occasional shouting coming from the kitchens :-D

Hello Sylvia :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 28 Feb 2015 22:09

The costumes were beautiful and one of the dances featured little girls in full costume. They were delightful especially when they forgot their routine and started giggling :-D

I'm worried about your knee Linda :-(

That sounds so interesting Sue, how nice to be invited to their celebrations. Nice to go somewhere different.

The Duchess's sister was in Vietnam fro the Chines New Year. She e-mailed me some interesting photo's.
They loved the country, but found Hanoi a bit much to cope with.

I always found the peoples of South East Asia so friendly, and happy, and polite. :-)

That's what I think.

OH took a group of Vietnamese ladies for a day trip last week. They invited us to their Chinese New Year celebration. As it was in a community centre in our town we decided it would be interesting. We had a wonderful time with great entertainment, food and the friendliest people who were delighted to see us and made us so welcome.

Oh yes I forgot it was Sunday there.

So what did you get up to last night Sue :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Feb 2015 21:50

Good Morning Sue :-D

You are allowed to sleep in on Sunday morning. :-)

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Feb 2015 21:49

Maisie got her up yesterday. Obviously she is being quiet today.

Shall we make a loud noise? :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 28 Feb 2015 21:48

Sorry - we had a late night last night and I slept in :-(

They would have very strong knees if they did.

Sue is becoming a real lazy bones these days

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Feb 2015 21:36

I think Sue has been kept back in church, to collect the Hymn books :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 28 Feb 2015 21:34

Well there is that.

His advice is ridiculous. Some people are glued to the tele all day. Suppose they took him seriously :-0

Maybe he doesn't realise how long I watch TV for :-D
