A couple of our coffee friends have ahd good news in the last couple of days.

One has been having big problems with her feet, had a scan 2 weeks ago, saw her doctor on Thursday .............. much to her relief the problem is not due to her diabetes, so no amputation worries. She does have osteoarthritis which is causing the problem. That's manageable

The other had a colon operation 6 weeks ago, and had 3 polyps plus part of her colon removed. Saw her specialist yesterday .......... they took out more than they had anticipated because there was cancer in the polyps, BUT she's now clear and won't need chemo or radiation. So good news for her as well.

Both are single ladies, living alone .......... so the coffee group has been a bit mroe of a support than we might otherwise be.

It is the year of the goat

Our friend in Taiwan sent us some sort of little jigsaw , or at least I think it is a cross between a jigsaw and a card. I opened the envelope, but haven't opened the pack yet. I will wait for OH to do it as she is his friend realy

we went for coffee this morning, did some shopping, came home for lunch .............


and now it is almost time to go for afternoon coffee :-)
