You lot do make me laugh :-D There are sandy people and a carrot top on Poppy's Dads side of the family but not on ours . I have twin nieces that are red heads but that comes though from their Mum ( she is half Irish ) .
I 've always been mousey brown and am just slowly fading to grey these days , which I don't mind in the least bit , one day I hope to be a silver fox :-D

My hair has been grey for quite awhile but I've coloured it. Decided to let it go to its natural colour a couple of years ago and am happy with it :-)

We have Drew for the day as it is a pupil free training day at his school. He is very easy as he is happy to read and Google his various interests on the computer.

Well if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

I like the sheep. The fields are full of lambs now.

You are just like the sheep being shorn for the spring

I had my haircut yesterday. It was alarming to see all the white hair tumbling down :-D

at least I have hair :-D

My father was ginger, my brother and sister are both carrot tops, although my sister has gone grey and she dyes it now. My mother was blond as I am of course. My hair is starting to go grey, just on the sides over my ears. I have never dyed it and won't now, I am happy to take what comes

I'm sure the cousins will have a wonderful time in Hobart - lucky children :-)

Powerful stuff Linda...........

Amanda my brother had very red hair as a child, and young man. It has gone fairer now.
He was the only redhead in the family, on either side.

We are off to Hobart Saturday afternoon our time. The cousins can't wait to meet up. They have so many plans :-D

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 5 Mar 2015 21:41

Tec , I actually don't know what Bon Ami means but I am sure the veggies will like it :-D it sounds positive .

Sue , Poppy is doing very well , she looks like a big giant baby compared to her baby cousins , she is all fat smiles and already makes those delightful cooing noises that only infants can make . She is trying to work out the hand to mouth thing and really seems to concentrate . We have decided she is going to be a ginger girl , hair colour wise , which is excellent as far as I'm concerned because we didn't have any red heads in the " clan " :-)
When are you off to Hobart ?

Tecwyn Report 5 Mar 2015 21:34

Thankyou both for your good wishes for the Duchess - I'm glad to see that she is getting medical attention, and will hopefully be better soon.

Amanda - Pleased to see that the twins are making good progress :-)

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 5 Mar 2015 21:34

Thank you Linda :-)

We always start gardening a few weeks before you , so the spring in Yorkshire isn't far off .

Hello Sue :-D

Hello Amanda - the twins are gorgeous. I'm pleased they are coming along well. Sounds like Megan is coping very well. How is Poppy coming along?

Hello Sue,

You must pack your winter woollies for Hobart :-D
I'm sure the Duchess will be fine soon.

Hello Amanda,
I'm glad to see that peace and harmony has broken out at the allotments. I'm sure the veggies will feel the Bon Ami and grow to gigantic proportions this year

Hello everyone .

I hope you are all getting along okay .

Sorry to hear the Duchess has hurt her hand and I hope she is feeling better soon Tec .

I have finally got all the rents in on the allotments :-D two people where being a bit difficult to contact and the general secretary has since chased them up and they are both giving their plots up .
It is getting very busy on the site as the growing season is upon us :-D
There is such a lovely atmosphere around the site these days , especially compared to the situation last year , people seem to be interacting with each other much more than before , which is lovely :-)
I'm sure it is going to be a good year .

Odin and Orion are both getting along well , putting on lots of weight . I am very proud of my daughter , she must be worn out but doesn't show it at all , she really is a trooper .

Hello everyone :-)

I'm sorry to hear that the Duchess isn't well. I hope she is much better soon.

I love the lamp Linda. If I could have got it home it would be in my room now :-D. Now I feel homesick :-(

The weather is very like Autumn. It was quite cold overnight and a cool this morning. Getting us ready for Hobart. It is snowing on Mount Wellington :-0
