I need to buy some more paint as she used it all up at Christmas, no doubt she will want to decorate her room again, I told her I had taken all the decorations down which she had made at Xmas. She didn't seem pleased, so we can make Easter decorations this time

She will gradually grow out of her moments, and occasional tantrums, as you will know, having raised your own.

I think at her age she will play for as long as you can take it

:-D

Grand dads do have a habit of opting out after a while :-D :-D
I speak from experience.

I fondly remember holidays spent with my Welsh grand mother.
She didn't play, and was very strict, but I liked being with her.
As my siblings grew up they were terrified of her, and couldn't understand the relationship I had with her.

They just didn't understand her :-D

We are very close, which pleases me. I make a huge effort to play her little games. She still has her moments though :-D.

It is just relentless playing though which gets harder as I get older Grandad can help out, but he tends to opt out

I'm sure that Eve will be fine, you seem very close, and I know you will keep her occupied.
She may enjoy getting all the attention, as against having to share you with her little sister.
I'm sure that she'll be fine.

She seems very keen to come, but it is the first time she will have been away from mum and dad, so she may not last the three days. She is used to going on holiday with us, so she should be fine. She did travel up on the big train as she calls it with me after my sisters MBE presentation. Her parents came up in the car, but it is a long way for her to sit,so the train worked well

It all sounds very complicated, but I'm sure you know what you're doing :-D

It will be lovely to have Eve to yourselves for three days.

sorry, I have just been booking some train tickets for Easter

Eve has two weeks holiday, so we are driving down for the first week. her mum will have Good friday and Easter Monday off, so we will come home on the Thursday evening of the first week.

I will then go down on the train myself on Easter Monday and I am going to bring Eve back here on the train on the Tuesday. The idea is that she will stay three nights here with us and I will take her back on the Friday, then come home myself on Friday evening. I wont book the tickets taking her back down just in case we have to go back earlier It is going to cost a fortune in train fares as all the cheap ones are long gone, but never mind

Yes, I hope they will too,

One of the lights on my hub has gone from blue to orange, I hope I don't lose connection :-(

Hopefully they will be taking more notice of her and helping her to dress and undress

Everything works in slow motion here - well not always :-D

They are waiting for the doctors decision after he has read the ECG. :-(

The Duchess has had her hair done, as I requested, and looks much better. She was quite cheerful today, although in some pain. Still a mystery how that happened. She must have fallen, though doesn't remember.

Have replied <3

They are taking their time over the Duchesses x ray results. Did you get a chance to ask about the medicine for the palpitations?

Tecwyn Report 6 Mar 2015 20:26

Hello, Linda I have sent a PM to you and Sue.

Been a lovely day here - Maybe Spring has sprung.

I went to town, visited the Duchess, who apart from having her arm in a splint was quite well and cheerful. They are waiting for results of her x-ray to see what the problem is. It is obviously quite painful.

I am off to make coffee now. Won't be long
