Hi Tec and Linda

Glad you are home safe and sound, Linda

Tec .............. what a lovely night's sleep :-)

The sun is shining again ............. but we had quite a bit of rain yesterday and overnight.

OH slept in this morning .............. which meant I did as well :-)

Linda .............. I have a skirt that is several years old and that I don't wear outside, but it's my "slob" gear, because it is so comfortable. It's long, blue denim, and has been washed so often that it has lost most of its colour, but has become very soft.

Have to decide what to have for dinner this evening ............... I usually choose something that OH does not like very much and therefore something that we don't often have.

bbq'd chicken wings ?????

teriyaki chicken legs ?????

choices, choices :-D

The coffee was fine thank goodness, the stuff from the buffet is dreadful,

Did you manage to get a good nights sleep?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 12 Mar 2015 11:49

Strange - when you said your post had disappeared. Half the post I made preceding yours also disappeared.

Gremlins are afoot :-D

Now I must get busy tidying up. I have visitors for the weekend, and it has been a very strange week. So must catch up.

Tecwyn Report 12 Mar 2015 11:43

Can't possibly be worse than hospital coffee :-0 one sip and I left it.

So there you are - flying through the countryside at 100mph, spread out all over First Class. :-D

Bit different to went I travelled to school on the steam train - Harry Potter style.

Hope you arrive on time with no delays.

The hostess is just bringing the coffee, I hope it is better than the stuff from the buffet,. That is supposed to be ground, but it tastes dreadful, I have resorted to having hot chocolate instead

Odd my last post disappeared.

I got Eve up and we had breakfast together, then I got her ready and took her to school.

I have now crossed London and the train North is just pulling out of Kings Cross. First class is very civilised at this time of the day. The other reservation on the table is a no show so I have lots of room to spread out

Have a good journey home Linda - pouring with rain here. Welsh rain is wetter than anywhere else :-D

Persie - there was no chance of me escaping off the bed, with a drip in each arm, and one in my hand
. Also being attached to the heart monitor. Well and truly wired up :-D

You are a treasure.. my kitchen has been in some sort of mess most of the time as being without a dishwasher and I can't stand around washing dishes so he does them in some sort of relay fashion.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 12 Mar 2015 09:15

Not quite :-D

My daughter had a bad night with Esme, plus Eve had one of her bad dreams. So my daughter was trying to grab every last second in bed.

I got Eve up and we had breakfast together, before I got her ready and took her to school. I am just going to tidy the kitchen before I set off for home

Persephone

Persephone Report 12 Mar 2015 08:14

and here was me thinking you would blow your whistle and call out everybody up.. stand by your beds.

I am sure that you are always immaculately presented even on a slob day Sylvia

I had a good nights sleep, the household should be awake if they are going to get to work and school on time, but no one has stirred yet, I had better start clattering around

SylviaInCanada Report 11 Mar 2015 23:29

I'm having a "slob day" tomorrow (Thursday) ................... no coffee

OH has a meeting at lunch, and then is going to drive up the valley 'cos he's giving a talk to a garden club in the evening

so I'll have a lovely day all to myself :-)

Good night Tec

I tell you what you really enjoy having had a drip inserted in your arm, after it has been removed.. You can sleep without worrying about bending your arm and setting off the alarm on the drip.

I shouldn't laugh, but the woman opposite me would forget to unplug her drip from the wall when she was off to the bathroom and I had to say to her a few times unplug. It did look funny when she could not go any further.

Tecwyn Report 11 Mar 2015 22:20

I must also get ready for bed, I'm sure I'll sleep tonight,

Sleep well Linda,

Enjoy your day Sue, Persie, and Sylvia,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)
