Hi Persie - same here with people retiring to Queensland. Lovely place but hot, steamy and prone to cyclones and flooding.

I'll have cheese on my toast please :-)

They may love Disney so much, they want Togo everyday :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Mar 2015 22:32

I was just going to request peanut butter :-( so cream cheese then please.

I can't understand why anyone would want to retire to Florida anyway, regardless of the threat from hurricanes every year.

Persephone Report 15 Mar 2015 22:31

Sardines are good, love them on toast. No I won't let him have any peanut butter it has been required eating here at present.

It is very still outside almost like the calm before the storm not after.. earlier at 7.30am the trees were wavering quite a bit.

Sardines are good, I will choose them please

Don't let Tec have any peanut butter

Poor Vanuatu, they were expecting fairly strong winds Northland and down the North Island's east coast. Just rain during the night here and the bedroom curtain did a few billows during the night.

I can never understand why elderly people in the US move to retirement homes in Florida... the cyclones are wicked there.

Coffees all around then.. You may have tomatoes, cheese, sardines, honey, vegemite, cream cheese or peanut butter on your toast.

It said the storm was weakening as it heads for Persie, so hopefully it Will be OK

That's why I offered coffee to Linda so she could put her feet up.

Our elder lot of grandchildren are way ahead of me in what they want to do. Evan is easy to feed as he does not eat a big variety.

When he was little he wanted baked beans when I was looking after him at his place so I put the baked beans in a bowl and put triangles of toast around the edge with pointy side up. He came to the table and said wow. Told his mother that Nana does flash baked beans.. doesn't take much.

Hello Persie,

I hope the weather that devastated Vanuatu and heading in your direction fizzles out before it reaches you.
I feel very sorry for those poor people.

If there's any spare, I'd love a coffee - thank you :-)

If you are ill - you are ill, and must look after yourself.
Just do the essential things, and leave the rest. :-)

I use eucalyptus tissues when I have a cold and if my nose gets a bit sore I use the ones with aloe vera.

Will you still have a coffee Linda or are you off to bed.

My grandies always include their names on my mother's day cards.. Anya usually goes shopping and buys me a gift from the family.

I am pleased that the Duchess is feeling/looking better.

How very sympathetic you are Tec - Rudolph's nose indeed :-0

Do you still feel horrible Linda? :-(

That's the thing these days, Linda. I don't really have to run around after them. We pick them up at the bus stop. They empty their bags, have something to eat, do their homework and then entertain themselves.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Mar 2015 22:07
