So close, and so many what if's,

but Ireland took it, and congratulations to them.

I think any of us could have won the championship today.

LindainHerriotCountry Report 21 Mar 2015 19:03

I suppose it is fairer if neither of us got it

I'm holding my breath for England :-D

I think they only need 6 more points

3 minutes to go :-0

I can just imagine you dancing the night away Sylvia :-D

I am glad you had a nice time

I have been catching up with some cinema admin this afternoon and now I am watching theEngland rugby match.

Although Wales won this afternoon, they can't win the triple crown. England have to beat France by 26 points in order to claim it. If they don't then Ireland get jt

we had a good time last night .............. the "kids" were great ..................

meaning the show put on by the students in the Opera Programme :-)

Dancing was to the Dal Richards Band, which plays old standards ............... big band dance, 50s rock n roll, etc

Dal is only 97 :-D

He's part of a study here being done on "super seniors" ................ those over 85, who have never had cancer, and are hale and hearty.

Our friend thinks she might apply to join the same study in October, when she turns 85

Our friend decided to catch the 10:15 am ferry, so she left about 90 minutes ago ....... and we are getting back to normal

whatever normal is :-)

My daughter was six when she picked that up from me - she thought it was hilarious.

Trouble is my OH actually had an Auntie Mary :-D

I believe Prince Charles sings that one as well Tec

One tends to sing it without even thinking about it when one is doing the Gay Gordons...it is the one dance that himself is very good at.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 20 Mar 2015 23:26

It will be delivered Tec, that was only £30, so isn't bad

Glad that your daughter got the dishwasher Linda - does she have to collect it?

Persie - I love the song your daughter sang. :-D

My daughter picked up a little ditty that I used to sing when she was little

"Auntie Mary had a canary up the leg of her drawers
Auntie Mary Had a canary up the leg of her drawers"

sang to the tune of the Gay Gordons............ :-D

There used to be an electrical shop in the town we lived in which sold cabinet damaged goods. They were brand new and we bought several things there over the years. When they are under the worktop, it doesn't matter if they have a dint in the side

That shop closed, but that is why I knew to search for something similar when my daughter need things
