We've had quite a bit of rain on and off all weekend. The garden is definately loving it but it's been grey and miserable. Not much different this morning.

We had to remove a shrub that died this summer. I bought a beautiful set smelling Daphne to replace it. Not a good time to plant but it's still warm so it should be ok.

I don't know where she is - I hope she isn't ill again.

It's been a beautiful day here - sunshine all day.

Tomorrow rain is forecast, and the rest of the week, but actually we need it. It has been very dry, and everything is growing now.

At least you know the Duchess is being cared for so you don't have to worry about that.

It's such a shame about your London trip but it can be arranged again.

Where's our Linda?

I don't relish the prospect of going back into hospital, but it has to be sorted out.

Disappointed that my trip to London is cancelled. I was looking forward to that.
Maybe I can go later.

I haven't been able to get to see the Duchess, but daughter was there last Sunday.

I guess it's the best place to be to get things sorted although I know you don't like the thought of going into hospital again.

Not so bad thanks - I am tired because I sit in the armchair all night, but do get cat naps.
I think my GP is making a housecall tomorrow. She apparently e-mailed the surgeon on Friday.

I think I will be back in Shrewsbury by the end of the week.

Tec , our cats have had varied relationships with the dogs . Bandit has always been wary of them , as our Pippin is very large ( white with ginger ears and tail ) , he is renowned for being a bit of a bully boy so Bandit usually runs away from him , she doesn't mind Lunar ( the black cat ) and just about allows her to groom her on occasion .
Our dogs have always chased off next doors cats , they are fair game ......lol

I too have led an exciting life - rounding sheep up on more that one occasion :-D

Amanda, cats and dogs can be great companions. We had a cat that used to follow us for miles when walking the dog. She would keep a discreet distance. We were not allowed to know that she was following. :-D
Strangely she always got home before us - sitting on the doorstep to welcome us :-D

I hope the dentist fixes your OH Persie, toothache is no fun

I can understand how Bandit feels.. and a little bit of a change etc will help him a lot.

Must go, OH has toothache and so we are off to one of the emergency clinics.

Yesterday we went out and on the way back helped a chap round up his cows that had strayed out on to the road..

We lead such exciting lives.. :-S
