Take a torch :-D

You could clean the windows outside - you like doing that in the dark :-D

You said so :-S

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Mar 2015 20:11

It is dark out there :-S

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Mar 2015 20:04

Well go to sleep then - you must need it.

I know how you feel :-(

Have a walk around the garden for fresh air :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Mar 2015 19:35

I can hardly keep my eyes open. all I want to do is go to sleep

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Mar 2015 19:31

I can't do that :-D

I don't know her well enough to invite her for coffee. I've only a few brief conversations with her and her friend.
She did phone me in a professional capacity recently.

I'll just have wait until the system gets it act together.

Maybe tomorrow :-(

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Mar 2015 19:09

Ask the girl next door but one to come for coffee. Get Sue to bump into her and drop a hint

Tecwyn Report 23 Mar 2015 18:58

The nurse that came on Saturday said she would ask the GP to call. Maybe she forgot, or the GP wasn't there today.
I spoke to her secretary today.

Normally you have to be dying for the GP to make a house call :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Mar 2015 18:45

Well you did respond to my nagging because you did phone so there

I thought the GP was going to come and see you

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Mar 2015 18:05

As you now, I being a cantankerous old goat, don't respond to nagging.

However, I have been in touch, and they are waiting a response from Shrewsbury.

Pity I didn't phone directly myself, as I would have been given a date straight away.
Last time I got a consultation within a week. :-(

Letters take time to get through the system.

So, you don't have to nag now :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Mar 2015 15:25

Tec, I am nagging you, you know why :-|

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 23 Mar 2015 13:18

We were concerned :-0

That you may be ill, or abducted by aliens.

and then there were three :-D

Quite a surprise for your neighbours I expect, but not such a shock as my nephew and his OH had, producing triplets - now aged five.

sadly, that marriage has failed. The boys to be "shared" :-|

I am waiting for news that I have to go back to Shrewsbury.
The nurse who called on Saturday was going to ask my GP if she would pay me a home visit today - so not holding my breath.
Anyway, my bag is packed - again.

Had a better night, so feel better for it today, and the sun is shining.

Sylvia - My magnolia tree is two weeks behind. When I came home from hospital on the 15th March last year it was in full blossom.
At the moment only the tips of the buds are showing white - so will be about another week I think.
Strange, as we had a mild winter here.

Hi everyone

Tec .............. I hope you get some sleep tonight <3 <3

Linda ............ that will be a shock for them!!!

Sue ........ enjoy your day

it has started raining again here ....................

but daughter had more snow this weekend ............... luckily not too much, but it did force her to cancel a planned "girls tea party" at her house to celebrate her birthday. That was because the city slaps on a no street parking ban when snow is forecast, so the snow ploughs can work.

and, anyway, her husband came down with the flu on Friday, which meant he wasn't able to take care of their son ............. so it was a good job the tea party had been cancelled!

Sorry, I was at the annual volunteers social at the cinema

It was tthe Second Best Marigold hotel film with a buffet afterwards. I stayed to do the clearing and washing up, so am back late

I was going to post before I went out but didn't have time because my neighbour popped in with her little boy. She wants me to look after her little boy in the morning while she has a hospital appointment. I have suspected for a while that she was pregnant again. She brought a scan photo to show me and didn't say anything. I did a double take when I saw there were two of them

They are identical but she doesn't know the sex yet. It was a it if ashock for them as they have no twins at all in the family

You've been ruthless :-D We used to have lots of flowers and other plants that needed constant care but over the last few years we have made the garden more maintenance free.

I need to get going Tec - I have some jobs around the house and shopping to do.

I hope you manage to get some sleep - take care <3

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Mar 2015 23:12

Well time to prepare for the night,

Enjoy your day Sue - hope the weather improves,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Mar 2015 23:07

Yes it will be much easier. All that's left in the border are the roses, and peonies, everything else has gone.

Hedges reduced in height by a third, Shrubs brutally pruned :-D

Daylight and horizons

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Mar 2015 23:03

Much easier to look after I'm sure :-)

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Mar 2015 22:50

You wouldn't know my garden - looks twice the size :-D

everything cut down, cut back, or dug up............

the jungle has been conquered :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Mar 2015 22:47

I'll remember that. I've never had one before but they smell so nice I decided to get it.

We've been spending some time tidying up the garden. Pruning mostly.

Tecwyn Report 22 Mar 2015 22:43

The daphne should be alright planted now - give the roots time to establish before the cold weather sets in.

I had a daphne in my last house - did it good to be kept pruned I found
