I think all the seasons have a lt going for them, I dn't mind the cold of winter because you can always get warm, but I don't like the wet, or the short days.

Though you can shut the curtains, and curl up by the fire :-D

I do too, Tec. I love Spring but Autumn is softer.

Yes Linda - the nurse does deserve a medal.

She's very caring, and very professional, although still quite young.

I like Autumn Sue - there is a peaceful serenity about it as things start to close down for winter.

Thank goodness for the nurse, she deserves a medal

Hello Sylvia :-)

I'm sure the nurse can handle the GP. Her job is to look after her clients and that is what she did.

Sunny outside though a little chilly. Autumn is definately here.

Hello Sylvia, Sue, and Linda,

Well at last something is happening. I haven't been to bed for a week, snatching what sleep I can in the armchair.
Only the nurse realised the state I am in, that is why she went into battle for me.
I do hope that she doesn't get in trouble with the GP.

Hi everyone

glad the Nurse managed to sort out the hospital :-)

Sorry to hear the Duchess has had another fall ............ it's a shame that you can't get to see her. Hopefully, it will only be a matter of days before you can get there xxxx

Hello :-)

Poor Duchess - I'm glad she didn't hurt herself but it would have shaken her up.

The nurse did you a big favour, Tec. Two weeks is ridiculous :-|

I hope you and OH are feeling much better now, Linda.

I am sorry the Duchess has had another fall, hopefully the home can keep telling her why you cant go and she may take it in

Even if you paid for a scan there would probably be a long wait. Hopefully they will keep you in tomorrow and sort it out. I hope the car turns up on time

Sunshine, rain, and hail today.

From nobody wanting me, now everyone wants me :-D

The haematology dept phoned this morning wanting me in Aberystwyth tomorrow morning. I explained that I wasn't able to go, so they asked could I let them know when I could go - it's a follow up to the potassium problem I had last week.

Then after several conversations on the phone with my GP, I got an appointment to see the surgeon in two weeks time in Shrewsbury. It was the best they could do :-0

The Sister who dresses the ulcer got wind of this, and got rather irate.
She took up my case with the hospital, and miraculously I now have an appointment tomorrow morning.
She also arranged transport picking me up at 8am.
I don't who she spoke to, or what she said, but it worked.

They may keep me, if there's a bed, so I have my bag packed in case.
Really my leg needs a scan, last time I was there they didn't think it necessary.
If they say the same tomorrow I will pay for a scan if I have to.
I can't use my leg, it's very swollen and very painful. Not moaning - just saying.

Had a call from the home today. The Duchess has had another fall. They called the paramedics, and after checking her over they found no damage thank goodness.

I would have liked to have seen her before tomorrow, but it wasn't possible.

My laptop is being very strange. I may have to invest in a new one - I think this one is dying. Oh well.
