I am up and ready early, waiting for the plumber who was coming "First thing". No sign of him of course which is typical when we want to set off

No news from my daughter yet, I sent her a text but haven't heard back yet

Whilst it is good for you to be looked after at home rather than the hospital.. the sooner the better that they get this sorted will be a relief for you and everyone else Tec.

I am sorry to read that Esme is back in hospital, poor little moppet and it also must be upsetting for Eve with all this going on and disruptions in her little life. As you say you do what Grandmother's can do..

We have been up in Auckland today for Maia's 20th Birthday. Maia and her mother were taking ages to come to the table so I suggested that we clear all the plates, hide the food and leave them empty on the table and say too late missed out.. Evan and Anya liked that idea. I am a bad influence on my grandchildren.. also suggested that I start blowing the first candles out as the remaining ones were being lit... dear Anya had put the full 20 on there.. and she made owl cakes which were just like fat little owls and they stood up.. thought it very clever of her.

so sorry to hear about Esme. I do hope that the hospital treatment works. xxx

We were going on Sunday in any case. If we hadn't I would have been on the train tomorrow, as that is what grandmas do

I am also glad your daughter is able to stay with you. We don't need to worry so much knowing you will be well looked after.

I feel for your daughter, Linda. She must be exhausted and so worried :-(. Thank goodness you are able to go down and help them with Eve.

Yes Linda, it is good that my daughter is here at the moment, otherwise it would be a struggle.
Good to have my meals made for me :-)
Sil is comimg tomorrow for the weekend, and daughter staying for most of next week as well.
I am lucky that it is Easter holiday from school.

we are worried Amanda, but it is better that she is in hospital. Poor soul has so many appointments with her syndrome. Sadly this is just a foretaste of what is to come. Hopefully they can sort this one out quickly

Hello Linda , you must all be worried sick about Esme . I hate it when one of the little ones are poorly but cannot imagine how you all must be feeling . Esme has had such a rough ride since day one , she must be one tough little poppit <3 Hopes and prayers that she is soon feeling better and gets to come home with her Mummy to enjoy that wonderful cake :-)
