There has been a lot about Gallipoli here as well

Amanda2003 Report 24 Apr 2015 23:34

I hope the parades all went well Persie , a proud moment for you all to have August marching in it I should imagine <3

I like the lads way of thinking :-)

Persephone Report 24 Apr 2015 23:30

I was hiding in Linda's laundry Amanda..

Everything is Gallipoli and ANZAC over here...

Conversation between August and his mother this morning.....

"August, you know that parade that you went to yesterday, do you know what it was for?"

"The army"

"And do you know what the army does?"

"Marching!...and driving trucks!"

"Oh yes, that's what they do"

"Old trucks, that have smelly steam"

"They have new trucks too"

It is good to know that Eve is getting along well at school and not disadvantaged by her birthday :-)

I expect the calpol will be called for before much longer .

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Apr 2015 23:26

Eve is young for her year group as well, but she is doing well.

I hope the twins settle, it sounds like Calpol is needed

Amanda2003 Report 24 Apr 2015 23:24

Hello Linda , I can hear the twins having a good old scream up and OH has the telly up loud :-0 hopefully Meg will be able to settle them down for the night .

It isn't easy for a kiddie to be youngest in the school year but there is nothing your neighbour can do about it now :-( my son has an early August birthday , he was always one of the youngest in his classes .

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 24 Apr 2015 23:15

Hello Amanda, I hope the twins settle down

Next doors twins are due on Sept 9th, but they won't let them get that far. She is miffed because she is a reception class teacher and as they are going to arrive early, it will make them the youngest in the school year which she doesn't want

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 24 Apr 2015 23:08

Hello Persie , I hadn't spotted you there :-D

Amanda2003 Report 24 Apr 2015 23:07

:-) the news about Tec is lovely to hear . Thank you Linda for adding it to the thread and to Shaun for passing it along to all of us . I think of Tec every day and wonder how he is getting along <3

Linda , Congratulations to your neighbour on her twin news :-) when are the babies expected to arrive ?

Sue , I hope you soon have your washing machine back up and running , the thought of not having one fills me with dread .......lol

It was a really hot day here today , more like the middle of June rather than the tail end of April :-0

Odin and Orion had their first injections today , they are rather unsettled tonight and I'm hoping their temperatures don't go up to much , it is a warm night .

Good morning Sue.

The sun is shining and I am off to babysit the little boy next door while his mum goes for a scan. She has found out that her new baby twins are boys. She was rather hoping for girls. As long as they are fine she doesnt mind of course, but she rather fancied the pink variety.

Then I am going straight off to do Meals on Wheels, so it is going to be a busy morning
