It is time for bed here, so I will say goodnight

LindainHerriotCountry Report 2 May 2015 23:11

Too chilly here as well, it would scare the neighbours as well :-D

SueMaid Report 2 May 2015 23:09

I was born in St Mary's hospital in Armley. It isn't a hospital anymore.

Hello Sylvia. I didn't go for the naked gardening day. Too chilly :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 2 May 2015 23:06

She looked amazing to say she had given birth only ten hours before

I am going to your neck of the woods tomorrow to take some things to my niece. she lives in Armley which is not the best part of Leeds, but the rents are cheap there

it's sunny and warm here today ...................

good for Naked Gardeners Day :-D :-D

OH thought I was joking when I told him about it last night

SueMaid Report 2 May 2015 22:51

Everything in the garden is very lush - including the weeds :-( This is the wettest Autumn we've had in many years. At least we don't have the horrendous floods that some areas are having.

Lovely news about the new little Princess. I didn't look like her mum when I left hospital with my babies :-0

LindainHerriotCountry Report 2 May 2015 22:44

I will do Sue

It is almost your winter, so you should have rain. Just think how good the grass will be afterwards

Hello ladies :-)

Yes a unit is a small flat. The one I mentioned was a holiday unit. It had a kitchen bathroom, living area and bedroom. It wa nice but dirty. The next one they gave us was very nice.

Rain, rain and more rain here. It seems never ending. OH can't mow the lawn because it's too soggy. It looks like a jungle but so does everyone's lawn.

Linda - it's nice that you've heard from Tec - please give him my love next time you 'speak'.

Linda .............

thanks for the news on Tec. I do hope he gets to move soon

A unit is what I think you would call a rental flat or cabin. The ones I knew would be single storey buildings, not multi-storeys

I just got a short text from Tec, he is still in Shewsbury, he sends his love to everyone

LindainHerriotCountry Report 2 May 2015 12:22

What is a unit?

I had a lovely sleep last night :-D

We went to the market this morning, it looked nice, but was a bit chilly when we got out. It has clouded over and looks like rain. It is bound to rain as it is race day and they are all in their finery at the racecourse.

I just bought a slide for the garden on EBay for Eve to use when she is here, the garden is going to look more like the local playground

Thank you for your lovely words as always Elizabeth <3

Persie - we were given a unit for a few days in Port Macquarie. It hadn't been cleaned - we immediately demanded another one. It was dreadful :-(

Persephone Report 2 May 2015 02:06

August likes us to watch what he gets up to but he is not into hugs or holding our hand unless it is crossing the road or going across a driveway. We walked from his place this morning down to brunch at a café and then Stellan and mum got the bus back and August, OH and I walked down to the day care where daddy was busy on a working bee at the day care. We are going to watch him ride his two wheeler around this afternoon and he will be showing us his clever turning.

Our bed is not as comfy as some others that we have been on lately.. but I have got used to it even if it is high off the ground.

We will be heading home tomorrow. Not impressed with whoever stayed at the unit before us, bit of a mess down between stove and cupboard.. I don't want to report it in case the cleaner missed it when he was there.. so have left him a note about it. Anyways you don't like to say anything about others before you. The Group do send you an e-mail after each time you stay anywhere asking if everything was okay. So when it says was it clean and you have to tick yes or no I have always ticked yes.

We pay for a cleaner if we stay more than a two or three days.. just in case I miss something.

Grandma just loves playing, well she thinks so anyway :-)

She was upset this morning when I took her to school because I Was going home. She wouldn't go in, I think in her logic, if she didn't go in, I couldn't go. The teacher had to take her in with her. I am sure she would be fine within thirty seconds.

I am currently hurtling north on the train on my way back home, I am looking forward to a comfy bed tonight

LindainHerriotCountry Report 30 Apr 2015 14:53

Well where has the day gone?

I did some more tidying then went into town and bought a lightweight jacket, came back and did a little bit of cleaning, now it is nearly time to collect Eve.

Some serious playing coming up along the lines of " I will be the mummy, you can be the big sister, teddy can be the princess. There are some baddies in the wood coming to get us, let's hide" it goes on for hours
