I didn't ask how long your HEAD is, Allan - I asked how long the hair is?

Now, Sue has gone and left me in charge of you both - what am I going to do with you? I might take a leaf out of Mrs. Allan's book - I too, have a meat cleaver!

Well, seeing that you are splitting up - I'll be on my way. I have work to do and I thought it wasn't going to get done if I had to watch you two.

'Night, Tec.
'Night all others who are wending their way to bed.

The rest of you - see you later!

Also to Dianne...Take care, I hope everything turns out ok.

Well... I got on a horse yesterday, I did learn how to go and wow, but I was shaking so much with nerves, I thought the horse was going take off!!!!

Sue... I hope your grandson gets better soon, its awful when little ones are not well as you feel so helpless, give him lots a Nanny lovin!!!

Hello, Carole. I was thinking about you on the horse. Is it an experience to be repeated or is that the first and last time.

My grandson isn't feeling great but like all kids they pick up pretty quickly. Trouble is I'm not feeling great now. I have a sore throat and pounding headache and not much energy. I had to speak to a group of volunteers but I only stayed afterwards for a quick cuppa and then left. I've had a doze and feel a little better. Spring is worse than winter for nasty bugs.

Hi Sue

Sorry your not feeling well :-((
Take care, with plenty of rest.
Ive been fairly lucky this year and haven't picked up any bugs, keep my fingers crossed!!

I think that was the first and last time for the horse, my daughter is a bit disappointed, but I think she understands.

Hi Carole, I was thinking of you too. My first and last attempt was when I was given a 'leg up' one side and kept going - coming down head first on the other side!....Any stiff joints to-day?

Sue - take care of yourself. We need you to be in top condition to manage these wayward ones - Allan and Tec.....Do you think Colin is better behaved?or is he just lying low?

Hello All,

SueMaid - I hope you're feeling better.

Linda - Thank you for keeping us up to date with your Mum, I've been wondering how she is.

Diane - I hope you start to feel tickety-boo (or something close to it) very soon.

Hello to everyone else. My doctor gave me a prescription for some stuff to put on "me head" to help "me hair" to grow and cover that bald spot. Hope it works - and hope I don't end up looking like a cockatoo!

Take care everyone.

Hi Berona

Ouch!! that would have hurt falling on your head, did you hurt yourself badly?

No, not really. I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not being able to keep my promise to my daughter and go on a trail ride with her:-((

I'm a bit sad today, Patrick Swayze passing away. I loved the film Ghost!!!
It always made me cry, a good chic flick!!!

I'm not lying low, it's just that I can't keep up with all the repartee (is that the word?). A few pages back, when I was reading about Allan's hair or two, it crossed my mind that we must come across as a cross between The Goons and Alice in Through the Looking Glass.
Both had that totally of the wall, wonderful insanity. Love it.

Bit late to say but Linda, I am thinking of you. At least the hospital let's you visit whenever you want. At this time in your life and in your Mum's I think it's great that rules can be ignored. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too. Colin.

Berona Report 15 Sep 2009 11:31

Thanks for the hugs, Joy. Nice to see you posting on here. Are you interested in applying for a position in Tec's palatial mansion - or somewhere else on his vast estate? I'm sure he could find a place for you.

Colin - I know what you mean. Someone looking in for the first time would wonder what on earth is going on? and they would be further shocked to know how old we all are!

Carole - not sure, but I think I landed in a heap. It hurt enough to go crying to my mother and NEVER tried again!

Dear all,

I have lost track of the time!

Sue, please take care..we need your calming influence on here.

Berona, that fall could explain a lot..all these pictures that you have of Tec and myself: we are just figments of your imagination!

Colin, welcome to the world of insanity..enjoy!

Alison..would you like to share my hair?

Carole...I'm sure that Tec has a few tame sheep that he could saddle for you: not so far to fall!

regards to all

GoodMorning Down Under,
Good Evening Up Top,

Hello Joy
Don't think we've met before, so welcome. Please consider that I was relatively sane when I joined this thread - now, well draw your own conclusions.

Hope you are feeling better today Sue.

Carole, Well done on the horse, at least you did it, and yes there are a few sheep here on the estate that you could ride - also a Llama called Montgomery.

Colin, Pleased to know that you appreciate the humour of the asylum.
Allan is the Nutter in Chief. Sue is Mother Nutter.

Alison, Can you spare some of that stuff for Allan, so that he doesn't have to wear that silly hat.

Berona, Have you checked which way up you are today - I do worry about you at times.

Regards
Tec.

Righteous indignation...is misplaced if we agree with the lady's maid that high birth is a form of congenital insanity, that the sufferer merely inherits diseases of his ancestors, and endures them, for the most part very stoically, in one of those comfortably padded lunatic asylums which are known , euphemistically, as the Stately Homes of England.
