Ann there's nothing like straight from the garden onto the plate as it were ~ we steam all our veg and the soups we make are fantastic x

he cut the top off a fresh one and planted it - it stayed in out porch which is a sun trap for a year {someone thought it was a yukka so bort us one to put in there with it} now its growing nicely in the greenhouse we do have a portable heater which we use in the evenings x

I'm not growing much this year. I'm growing tumbling cherry tomatoes this year from hanging baskets. Some peas which look quite pretty and strawberries :-)

I was impressed with them all but a pineapple Mel, how on earth do you manage that? Do you have a special heater?

Hi Lesley ~~~~ I don't now, but have in the past ... things like potato's, carrotts, lettuce, spring onions etc ...and in my view, there is nothing tastier :)

we grow peas, beans, carrots, various type spuds, scallions, red onions, leeks, cuccumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, beet, peppers, rosemary, mint,sage,parsley, strawberries, apples,pears, blackberries, blueberries, and his pride and joy rite now a pineapple x
