Dear Janet and Mick from the Bush

Hello,

Are you our GR Australian cousins?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Janet, your son is lovely; growing vegetables and taking pictures of them.

MIck, you send like you are going into business!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My ancestors were market stall holders and worked in gardens.

As for my family, we use the area community garden.
We are growing lettuces, tomatoes and small potatoes.

Best wishes to you both and your families.
GR member, England
xx

We have a small-ish garden but I have two large pots with two tomatoes in each (flowering plus a few baby toms showing) two more large pots with bell peppers, one pot of chili peppers, one large pot with a cucumber and a few lettuces. The lettuce is much nicer than the shop stuff - roll on the toms!!

sorry to hear that helen...what happened to it?

The thing about tumbling Toms Ann is that it seems less hassle than tomatoes in a greenhouse and cherry tomatoes taste so good hmmmm

Do you have space on a wall somewhere for a hanging basket of tomatoes Ann? The ones I have are called Tumbling Toms and are specially grown for containers or hanging baskets. There's loads of little yellow flowers on mine :-)

:-) Mel

**wonders what I could grow if I raided the fridge lol**

I don't have a greenhouse anymore, so stopped with the tomatoes Lesley .... and I used to get lots of rhubarb from dads .... oh and I have grown strawberries in the past as well .... but the weather ruined plants so didn't get any more ....

My garden now is taken up with shrubs and flowers ... but might think about a strawberry patch again one day lol
