That's exactly it Sallie, if Joyce sees for herself the situation her mind will be at rest. I don't know why Rachel keeps her phone off but Joyce is bound to worry when Rachel tells her she is getting pains in stomach then next her phone is turned off.
Mary I also think it will do her good, but after a few days she starts missing Jan so I hope it doesn't spoil her holiday.
I keep forgetting to thank you all for your kind messages and wishes for me, so busy with Joyce, so thank you all.
My arm hurts so much I have to lift it with my left arm, it won't get better but is controlled by painkillers most of the time, thanks for your concern.
I'm off for afternoon rest now, be back later.

Thank you for letting us know about Joyce! She will probably be better being nearer her family, she can then see for herself how things are!
I wish Rachel would answer the phone, at least it would put Joyce's mind at rest a little bit. When I phone my son or daughter and can't get a reply, when I know that they should be at home,I start thinking all kind of things.

I'm sure Joyce is just the same! I hope, while she's over here that she will also go to see one of the doctors at the surgery her friend goes to. Maybe they can sort something out for her.

Anyway Caz, I hope your arm is a easier today and are able to use it a bit more. Take care!

Hello all, I had a long conversation with Joyce this morning, she is still not good but the worry over Rachel is getting to her I think. Rachel is not answering her phone so Joyce gets worried. She has decided to come over to England to be near her family, she will stay with her friend in Liverpool then go to Yorkshire to see Rachel before going back home with her other granddaughter who's due to fly out soon for Joyce's birthday. The only problem was the airfare, Jan's mum has given her the money for it but it will be her birthday present, Joyce is a bit 'miffed' as she won't get a pressie now lol, but she is pleased really as it's worked out nicely.
Joyce has said she will take this as a rest break as well and try to relax more over here, I hope she gets her feet up more as well while chatting to her friend.
She flies out early Sunday morning, I won't hear from her so much but will keep putting any news on this thread if you want to look in, as I'm sure Liz will do as well, put any news on I mean.

Morning all, not so bright and sunny at the mo but through the trees I can see a fiery red ball sparkling so sun is getting up at last! Hedgehogs have been for their dinner again last night, I only spotted one but the food is all gone so maybe more than one turned up to party!

I didn't phone you Caz cos I thought you might want to rest that arm, hope it feels better soon and hope Dutch you are staying upright and taking care of yourself. Nice to chat last evening.

Sorry I have not been on today I haven't been very well and my right arm is so painful it is hard to move it to type. There is no news as usual from Rachel and Joyce is still not very well. If I am missing tomorrow I am giving my arm a rest, but be on if Rachel has baby obviously, can't wait, anyone would think it was my granddaughter.

Hi All, I spoke to Joyce earlier but had turned puter off to go lie down. Still no news of Rachel, Joyce hasn't heard from her, seems this baby is playing a game.
It's a lot cooler here today and we have had the heaviest downpour for a long time, the little cobbled street outside our windows looked like a river.

I'll be back if any news comes my way from Joyce.

Thanks Caz, I had a call from Joyce around 6ish, I told her she has to keep her leg and foot raised more, she said even with the bandage/stocking on, her foot is very swollen. What can we do with her?
She explained about her son's wife, I had forgotten about her health problems hence thinking you'd got muddled, mind you, I have to concentrate hard when I am talking/ listening to Dutch lol

Dutch, I'm sorry to hear that you have pulled your a muscle in back, hope it will soon get better.
It will be lovely when Rachel has her baby. You would think that the hospital would take a bit more notice of her. Try not to worry too much, Dutch.

No Liz, it is her son's wife who is ill, but you are right in Ann's daughter in law is ill with the hernia, so she is worrying over both of them.
Joyce rung me to say Rachel has started with pains in her stomach again and the hospital says to ring if they get worse, she still has the twinges in her back they have never stopped.

Hi folks, I think Caz, you might mean Joyce's friend's daughter in law is very ill, but maybe I am getting it wrong, I know Joyce worries about everyone.

Shame about the pulled muscle, why won't you stop and think Joyce, as you are doing yourself more harm than good being so determined (that's a polite word for stubborn lol)

Hello all, poor Joyce has pulled a muscle in her back, doing what we all do instead of waiting for hubbies, she lifted a heavy grill onto the shelf. I told her yesterday she needs putting into a paper bag and shaking up, might sort her out, just joking Joyce, it made you laugh yesterday didn't it.
Her daughter in law is very ill and it's effecting her son, so of course Joyce is worrying over that, but we all would wouldn't we.
We haven't spoke on phone today but she will ring me if any news of Rachel.
I think that's it, this fibrofog is pretty bad at moment, can't remember my own name sometimes lol.
