Morning all, well, Joyce will be well on her way by now if not here already. I'm afraid she has two poorly legs now, got a pm off her this morning saying she had tripped up the step again yesterday and banged into the door. Jan and his mum came running out but she told them she was ok, she hurt her other leg though so will have to take it slowly.
Mary I will take the chance of getting some rest, I keep waking during the night in a lot of pain, took extra painkillers last night on top of my morphine and got a fairly decent sleep.

Well, safe journey, Joyce, take care, and take it slowly, I know from walking with you in Liverpool how you rush about and you will be having a fall if you don't take things steadily. We all worry about you and care so don't want you doing yourself a mischief, just make sure A's son takes you to the doc and gets you seen pdq. Life will be much easier if some of your health problems can be sorted out once and for all, so please remember your friends on here and do as you are flippin' told, woman!

Enjoy the break with your family and friends, and go back to Jan refreshed and less stressed. Lots of luck for Rachel too

Joyce is just about ready for the off tomorrow. She is not feeling very good and admitted she is getting stressed out with things. Personally I think she is starting to get depressed, she won't mind me putting it on here as I told her this morning she sounded depressed. Her friends son is taking her to his doctors on Monday, hope she can be seen then and get some help, her replacement knee is also very painful and feels like it will snap if she bends it. Hope to goodness she is careful with it. Hope you are reading this Joyce, please be careful.
She will be in touch by pm as she will have access to computers, also ring if any news, and no, no news of Rachel at all.

Joyce, I hope things work out for your son and d.i.l, shame you can't stay there but best off out of it, and try to help from a distance. Your d.i.l. needs help from her local mental health team so try and get your son to get her to the doctor first off so he can explain the problems if she won't. My friend from Miami called me earlier and I can't get through to her about ocd, her own sister here in Norfolk has it and made her visit here last summer really difficult with her constant cleaning and not letting anyone sit in the lounge, the only rooms they use are their bedrooms, the kitchen/ diner and the downstairs shower room, she even made my friend take all her things out of the suitcases to go upstairs as she said the suitcases were grubby from travelling so not allowed in the bedrooms. My friend's son won't go again as he felt unwanted there, yet the family love each other, she just won't accept she has a problem. That's the worst thing about ocd, you have to first accept you have a problem and be prepared to ask for help. My friend kept saying but ' I told her she doesn't need to keep cleaning', and she can't understand why her sister didn't take any notice. Ocd is so hard for non sufferers to understand.

Just came to say will see you all when im back i was looking forward to staying with my son,but things are,nt to good there so staying with my g,daughter who is coming back with me,then son rings me up said hes had enough but i told him just try and work it out ,but he was,nt having any of it ,so i have try and get help for my daughter in law she cant do this on her own,she has OCD and deppression for some years now,but my g,children are going to get caught up in this,and im sorry if you think i may be harsh but i wont allow this to happy ,ive been there ware the teashirt,and i ll do everything in my power to help,cant tell Jan as he takes my D>I>L side when i no its not my sons fault

Hi Caz,
I'm hoping that Joyce will be able to see one of her friend's G.P's while she is over here. The doctors over there don't seem to be taking much notice of her. It would be nice if she can get sorted out.

Thanks Sallie and Liz, I used to hate it when doctor made me spend afternoons resting, but I love it now and usually sleep as I don't during the night. I was going to go earlier but kept finding little jobs to do.
Haven't spoke to Joyce today but she is ringing tomorrow, she sent me a pm saying she was up early with pain again, wish she could get it sorted.

Hope you will feel better while you are resting more and not posting so much Caz. Will try and call you sometime but you know I am thinking about you often.

Joyce, hope you will feel better after visiting Rachel and will be rested and maybe even see a doctor in England, to get youself sorted out properly. Not sure that lot in Holland know what to make of you lol
Take care, and slow down a bit now, and think of yourself and Jan for a while. Don't want you ill for your birthday now.
