Glad you are not too bad Mummo, I used to end up covered in bruises. Since I can only walk very slowly and have to keep stopping I haven't fallen in ages, use to fall down the stairs a lot, it's nice having the flat now.
Proud of you not crying in the street, lol.

Morning all, I came on here to say I had been speaking to Joyce yesterday and she hadn't been to docs yet. She beat me to it.
Mummo sorry to hear about your fall, I had a giggle to myself about you trying to get up quick, I wonder why we do that, as Liz says we feel a plonker but an accident is an accident. Hope you aren't too sore and achy this morning.

Liz, the only use of my arm on Ancestry is typing a few names and dates, then it's just clicking away going through the names. A lot easier than being on here typing, arm is feeling a bit better but my doctor has asked my Macmillan nurse to call in to see me.
Hi Sallie, haven't seen you for a while.

Hubby made me a cuppa so will go drink it.

Caz xx

Oh I could have sworn you already had an apptmt Joyce, but do make sure you talk to the doc about your legs and the falls you have.

Mummo, hope you aren't too stiff and sore today after your fall, we don't want this to become a habit with everyone, but hey, don't you feel a plonker when you go down, soooo undignified and you wish the ground would open up and swallow you to save people seeing lol

Take care everyone, no more 'Dutches' stay on your feet folks and stay well

Morning all, ~~~~~~~~~ to Mummo, how is hubby doing in his first week ( I think) back at work?
I have been taking it easy this week, Joyce can't use her right hand, and my arm is not much better. Joyce didn't ring me yesterday but rang Tuesday but we talked about her family tree, nothing else. Jan is at home for his holidays so we won't hear much from her by phone I don't think.
I am still waiting to hear about what the doctor said about the pains in her legs, they are getting bad and she was worried enough herself about it to make the appointment.

If I hear anything I'll let you know.
I'm usually on Ancestry during the day so miss a lot on General.

Didn't Joyce say or Caz said Joyce said, that she was resting her arm after going to the Dr as a small bone might be cracked and have been missed by the X-Ray?

Hope all is well Joyce anyway.
Thanks Liz

Ann, I know what you mean about soft-speaking people. I have the same trouble and I couldnt wear my hearing aid in the dentists as they would probably have arms near my ears, which would make the aids squeal at me.

Huia.

Joyce, glad you enjoyed your time with your Grandaughter, hope you can get your wrist sorted as not being able to use it is a nuisance, besides being painful.

Caz, glad your back is a little better, hope your arm improves soon.

I have toothache at the moment, jarred a back tooth when eating something, I was hoping it would clear up on its own but I have a feeling i will have to go to the dentist, not keen (well less keen than usual Lol!!) as out dentist seems to have gone walk about - big mystery, nobody is saying whee he is and he is not ill!!!! and we have a locum. with all my hearing problems all I need is to go and find a soft speaking female Polish or Asian dentist, nothing against any of them except i find it difficult to hear them and understand them.

~~~~~~~~~~to Mummo, never done that before, lol.
Just spoke to Joyce and she is looking forward to her party, been out this morning buying cakes and things for her guests. One thing I'm concerned at is that she can't use her wrist, it is very painful when she tries to lift things with it. She had an x-ray when she fell but I'm wondering if they missed a cracked bone or something, it has been known to happen before.
I'm ok but arm still doesn't like to be used, back improving though which is a good thing.
Morning Caz, hope that arm is a bit less painful today and you have a good weekend.
Joyce, don't know if you will manage to get on line for long with such a busy day ahead of you, but hope you have a great birthday and enjoy your Danni being with you on this special weekend.
A very Happy Anniversary to you and Jan, too.
Love
