Hi Joyce, good to hear you went to doctors, but he should have told you the reason for the pain, It's good you are seeing physio when she gets back.
Hi Sallie and anyone looking in, I'm still waiting for nurse to call, they didn't come yesterday said it would be today now.

Caz, just wondering if the nurse has called yet. I hope she has!
It's so annoying when they promise to call and then don't.
Hope you are feeling less tired and that your arm is not so painful.

Joyce, good that you are going to have physio, and hope you won't have to wait very long before you start it.
How are things with Rachel and her family? It shouldn't be too long now before the baby arrives.

Good wishes to both of you.

Sallie.

Mummo, I have found that when some people send pics as attachments they have grey squares but if you scroll further down and wait long enough the pics come up. The grey squares are still there up above, I dont know why.

Morning all, smile and a ~~~~~~~~~to Mummo and Sallie.
I must have missed this thread last couple of days, but there again I have not had computer on much with my arm, so painful this morning.
The nurse came Tuesday and doctor rang yesterday to say all the results are good. I take so many tablets a day, 18 on prescription, she is worried about the effect on kidneys and liver, all ok so far but I have to have them every three months.

I had an eventful day yesterday, I decided to try and do my washing myself without sisters help as I only had one washerfull. We have certain days and times one of mine being Thursday 12-30 to 2-00. The manager/warden usually rings us on the intercom in the morning to check on us, she was at hospital yesterday so the mobile care team did it. They hadn't rung when it was time for me to set off with my washing in a bag balanced on my walker, by then I had forgotten anyway. Started the lift to go down and remembered it had broken down the day before, I panicked a bit and felt for my care line round my neck, I had taken it off to change my top and left it on the bed. It was at this point I wondered whether to turn back but thought I am on the bottom floor now so carried on. After a bit of trouble trying to balance while putting clothes in washer I started it going. I saw a woman run past the door, then she ran back and opened the door, she asked if I was Mrs ***********, I said yes, oh God she said we have looked all over for you. There had been some hold up and she couldn't get into our office to the intercom while 12 and of course I didn't answer, so she rung our phone, no answer, she checked on everyone else then checked me again still no answer so she left a message on answerphone. She then had to look in all the community rooms, knock on doors near my door to see if I was in with them. When she found me it was the last place she looked before getting the keys and going into my flat. I am down as disabled housebound so she knew I wasn't out, she said she dreaded going into peoples flats when they didn't answer and was so relieved to find me ok. We had a laugh over it but I could understand her worry.
I managed to get back home trembling and so tired I could hardly stand up, I decided that I will use my sisters help next time, it was just too much for me.

That took so long to type I had a cuppa half way through and now going for another and some painkillers, didn't mean to write so much.
I haven't heard from Joyce but I am ringing her tomorrow, she will be on pins waiting for Rachel to ring.

Caz I had to laugh when you were telling us about what happened yesterday. I can imagine the poor woman must have been at her wits end.
Yes, I think it will be better to wait for your sister's help with the washing, it's too much to do on your own. I hope you are feeling a bit less tired today. Enjoy your weekend and take care of yourself!

Joyce hope you are feeling better. I thought there might be some news of Rachel -- it will be nice when the baby arrives -- a bit less worry for you too.
Have a good weekend. Take care!

Speak to you both soon.

Love, Sallie.xx

Hi folks,

Caz, you know how to make someone's day eh? lol That poor woman, must have been petrified running round trying to find you, you never knew you were so important did you?
Maybe you have to stick a post it note by the door, saying Am I wearing my alarm pendant so you don't travel without it again. Glad you didn't get stuck in the lift tho and got the washing done, it's shown you that it isn't worth trying to be independent as it takes too much out of you, wait for your sister next time.

Did you see the pot calling the kettle with Joyce, lol, telling you to rest or she will be over! That from the woman who won't be told anything and does too much herself, sometimes!!! Joyce, you know I love you really lol

Better finish a bit of swearwording before I hop in the bath and freshen up, need to go to the shop and it would be good to be out of the house when o.h. gets home from work cos he likes to potter about when he gets home and have a little moan and groan to himself....lol
I need to get my lottery tickets anyway, my possible ticket to freedom!
love to all

Lol, Sallie and Liz it's certainly showed me how useless I am, I won't be doing that any more, I was fit for nothing yesterday.
Just spoke to Joyce and she and Jan are having trouble with mosquito bites, they are itching like mad she said. No news about the baby yet.
