Last year I went a'skidding and a'sliding over my marble tiles in the kitchen, goodness ... all I can say is, Ouch! Joanie will remember, I had to order taxi's there and back to the doctors, had soft tissue damage.

Think I might have damaged a hamstring, Shimms. Have appt with doctor next week so dosed up on ibuprofen and paracetamol for now.
Bit better this morning so will take dog for a short walk in a while to test it out.
Might have to take Joan's walking stick with me!

I'm getting over this horrid flu......think I'll sit in Rita's garden today saves me getting out the chair & sun Brolly from the garage .

Yes ... use Joanie's walking stick and take care on your walk. Am pleased it feels a bit better today ...

Mair, am sure you will rest it. One of the best things to do is to elevate it, higher than the heart I think whenever you can. xxx

Joanie, I've broken both ankles, toes and more ... have crutches ... lol, so hard at first then able to 'hop' sort of using them to come downstairs. xxx

mixed up an appointment and lost the ladies phone number so am waiting for a nasty phone call...oooops

Will have to do that, Shimms and I'll show your advice to my OH so he'll know why he won't get any lunch or dinner . . . . . . !!!!
