A question was asked I gave an explination as I saw it.

I dont give 2 or 10 hoots how many time people come and go,,,,,,,,its not costing me nothing and the more times they keep paying £9-95 its helping to keep membership costs from going up.

But it obviously hit a nerve !

Well no names will be mentioned but one member threw a strop because they couldnt face up to having any blame laid at their door....it was announced that said member had deleted themselves, and they had,,their choice entirley no one quibbled.....

but low and behold said member re-appeared within possibly 2 days with a reinstated account announcing,,,,,,,,

*they had deleted themselves quite by accident,,,,,,,,!! but its quite well known that its impossible....***but swore it was the truth*** no it was another a lie......that is undermiming peopes intelligence........surely,?

Personally I dont give 2hoots about them.

when i delted meself i had to actually ask someone hw to do it!

Sue, that is true; one person's ongoing harassment on it caused it to go, I believe.

However, GR administration staff think that it is possible, so allow people back - just thinking aloud here.

I think that's the point most of us have been hinting at Joy :O)

You can delete 'in haste' but not 'by accident' lol

I had to search for remove all details; found it in FAQs in Help (top right of screen).

My conclusion: it is impossible to remove registration details by accident.

Stevie dont get me started on my typos...I cant spell, I miss out words in sentances I'll type do in stead of dont I put the completely wrong words in a sentance that makes no sense what so ever... the list is endless..lol

Sorry, LWH - I left the computer to do real life stuff:)) The thread I put up was a fun dig at people deleting in a hissy fit and coming back. Muffy and RRose came on and we had a laugh 'cos both agree it was silly. If you had come on you would have been in for some fun teasing too. On came another poster who took offence, wrote silly things that were thinly disguised cursing and turned the thread into HER thread. We didn't mention any names but some of the posters were laughing at themselves for goodness sake. It was light hearted and amongst friends. It was more than obvious that this person took offence at ME and my friends and not necessarily what we had to say.

BTW I didn't read anything into your numpty thread

I had a hissy fit and deleted from here once. I put a thread on gen saying I was leaving and left. It was a while before I rejoined though. I didn't stick up a thread to say I was back either, just started posting again.

I think I had the title of the thread still in my head Hayley. Yes I, meant to have typed numpty.

It seems that with all the problems going on this board. That people are reading all sorts of things into threads & postings, whether they are there or not.

Well seeing as only the two parties involved in a 'private message' are privy to the content .......... you can hardly blame those on the public board for making their own assumptions can you ??

I think your reading into something that isn't there.There wasn't anything baiting or under hand with the Numpites thread.

This started from a personal joke between LWH & myself. Where in a PM she called me a numpties. The thread was just a bit late night fun.

Well said Mildred....................what has people not being able to get out have to do with the nasty or goading threads that are being directed at people, I have seen more than 1 person say this of late, why as you rightly wrote do they try and lay a gulit trip on others, whist stilling baiting. Its not others people fault that they have children families jobs and a real life.
