For goodness sake LWH...............are you sure it's you posting?

You sound completely different and I won't be responding to you again.

Deleting oneself once can be considered that one has made a foolish mistake, but twice in one week is nothing more than a childish tantrum attention seeking hissy fit, especially when one keeps on making a verbal point of returning to the board.

Look I dont give a Gnats armpit if you throw your arms up in the air several times, leave then come back. but what I do care about is the ripples of discontent you bring back with you on the board, such as flame baiting threads such as the one on the board, which encourages negative response, and the involvement of your partner when you do leave, trying to make people feel guilty that you flounced off the board and how you dont get out etc etc.

Its not our guilt trip if you as an adult make a decision to leave. You get involved with the troubles on here and you make comments which may inflame people. You just dont like it when people suss this out and dont agree with you.

Nothing to do with friends luv

Its your behavior on here in question which at the moment is the issue.

One just has to see your latest threads title about numptys to see that you have an agenda on here, and that one doesnt contain the words peace and harmony. Im sick of seeing baiting threads thinly disguised as fun threads - the true meaning alwys shows through.

If you want to continue to make a name for yourself as a trouble maker then its up to you, but please dont ask for sympathy (or get your partner to) if and when it backfires

Well said Mildred....................what has people not being able to get out have to do with the nasty or goading threads that are being directed at people, I have seen more than 1 person say this of late, why as you rightly wrote do they try and lay a gulit trip on others, whist stilling baiting. Its not others people fault that they have children families jobs and a real life.

I've been called worse than a numpty - I've been called a "beach":))

Hi all,
I think your reading into something that isn't there. There wasn't anything baiting or under hand with the Numpites thread.

This started from a personal joke between LWH & myself. Where in a PM she called me a numpties. The thread was just a bit late night fun.

Steve.

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 21 May 2009 11:43

Well seeing as only the two parties involved in a 'private message' are privy to the content .......... you can hardly blame those on the public board for making their own assumptions can you ??

unless they are mind readers of course................... :O))

Wouldn't it be Numpy Stevie I thought Numpties meant more than one of...but you know me I am as think as p** ****

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 21 May 2009 11:53

Well my thread was only fun too but we get back to the fact that it isn't necessarily the thread that offends but the poster who doesn't fit.

Stevie

Stevie Report 21 May 2009 12:01

I think I had the title of the thread still in my head Hayley. Yes I, meant to have typed numpty.

It seems that with all the problems going on this board. That people are reading all sorts of things into threads & postings, whether they are there or not.

Steve
:o)

EDITED for yet another typo. lol

I had a hissy fit and deleted from here once. I put a thread on gen saying I was leaving and left. It was a while before I rejoined though. I didn't stick up a thread to say I was back either, just started posting again.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 21 May 2009 12:51

Sorry, LWH - I left the computer to do real life stuff:)) The thread I put up was a fun dig at people deleting in a hissy fit and coming back. Muffy and RRose came on and we had a laugh 'cos both agree it was silly. If you had come on you would have been in for some fun teasing too. On came another poster who took offence, wrote silly things that were thinly disguised cursing and turned the thread into HER thread. We didn't mention any names but some of the posters were laughing at themselves for goodness sake. It was light hearted and amongst friends. It was more than obvious that this person took offence at ME and my friends and not necessarily what we had to say.

BTW I didn't read anything into your numpty thread

I had to search for remove all details; found it in FAQs in Help (top right of screen).

My conclusion: it is impossible to remove registration details by accident.

I think that's the point most of us have been hinting at Joy :O)

You can delete 'in haste' but not 'by accident' lol

Joy

Joy Report 21 May 2009 13:08

However, GR administration staff think that it is possible, so allow people back - just thinking aloud here.

Joy

Joy Report 21 May 2009 13:25

Sue, that is true; one person's ongoing harassment on it caused it to go, I believe.
