Lol Muffy... isn't it you who loves the smell of petrol as well????? I love the OLD Benylin. The one I used to have when I was a little girl... the chemist mixed it all up to a special recipe, lol... it had liquorice in it as well as a magic ingredient.... that was a goodly measure of sherry, I'm sure, lolol!!

Daff, I haven't spoken to you before, but I just wanted to say, I've been reading your thread on gen. Good luck m'love, sounds like you've had a pretty rough time, but you seem to be coping with it in an incredible fashion. My Dad had 3 lots of chemo last year, and I know how tough it was for him - so good on you girl! :o))

Jac, My balaclava was red, but mam ran out of wool, so all around the face rib was white... my Gran found some fluffy white swansdown and stitched it all around, so I looked like an eskimo, lol!! My Welsh wool scarf was safety pinned at the back and crossed over at the front so's I wouldn't get pneumonia........ I was always cold as a kid!!

See Daff - you didnt get pneumonia as a kiddie did you? so it beddy worked!!! I still have my balacalava - I'll send it to you shall I - it's corpo. green with a yellow sort of bit where my mam obviously hadnt unpicked me brother's old jumper properly and had to join the wool.

It's at the back so you cant see that bit - you'll look good in it I promise and it will keep the germs away (and the local population I should image as well) ))))
