My grandson is 17 doing A levels but wants to do part time work to fund his driving lessons and to bank for when he goes to uni.His father is disabled and he has a brother who is Aspergers for who his mum is the carer. They receive about £47 for my grandson as a dependant and get incom support, council tax rebate and housing benefit. If he gets a job it will be £5 71 per hour and he will work 16 hours. His mum rang up to find out if any of the money they are getting will be stropped and the answer was let him get the job and then we will tell you. This is not good enough as they may lose his dependant money, which will make what he earns very little. Can anyone help. Elaine. I will be logging off shortly but will be back tomorrow, have to let oh have time on, we share a line. |
