Family legend on my Mums side of the family is that someone helped Bonnie Prince Charles ( something to do with the whole boat escape to Skye etc ) and for this help the chap was given a Hall and a crest etc. |

Hi Hayley, I don't yet know if any of my family were famous, although my maternal Grandma reputedely sang with the Carl Rosa opera company. What I do get a sense of though is all those poor women, having baby after baby, year after year, from being 17 through to their 40s.Well, they did in my family anyway. I havn't yet been looking long enough to know how many of the babies thrived, but if all my familie's did i'll be here forever finding living cousins. I really hope you solve your mystery, you're in the right place here, kind people are so helpful and tenatious helping you.Lots of love and good luck, Nina |
