Evening all.
I used to think the 13th was only for Friday's, but not so. Not a particularly good day today - probs first with meds arriving early, sent back then 're arriving' late....probs getting a Hickman line in (almost abandoned)...various other hiccups that are being monitored through 'til morning.
But....SM still giving, and receiving, friendly banter !! What else would you expect ?!!!
Two more days of chemo to go, but no idea yet on future treatment plan(s) - not even sure the consultants have decided yet.
Daff is tired (not surprising!) and apologises for any texts she has not yet got around to answering, or a reply has been somewhat brief !! And not quite up to getting on-line at the mo' - maybe tomorrow?
That's it - except for my battle with one of 'her' felines last night, resulting in my having to wear a large 'patch' on my hand before visiting......cat should be down to near ground zero now....it's been 12 hours since I....asked 'it' to go away.....;o( lol !! Still don't know what caused the incident either..sigh.

Sorry you have been having a bad day, in more ways than one. 'Her feline' seems to be giving you a bad time. You certainly don't need that.

SM Daff will carry on giving friendly banter I am sure. Let us hope they sort out what their plan for the treatments is going to be. Now the Hickman line is in, at least their will be less sticking pins in her.

Oh so sorry to hear that today wasn't good but thank you R for the update, I hope Daff has a better night and sleeps well.

Thanks R for the update, not a good day by any means. Time to show those felines who is boss methinks (in Daff's absence that is! we know and they know who is boss when she is there! They are!)
Hope tomorrow is a better day for Daff and for the nurses who I am sure are equally frustrated. Also hope you get to sort out what the future plans are.

Bad day all round then Daff. Those pussies of yours are obvoiusly missing you. Ours goes all uppity if I go out on my own, though she gets more attention from OH. I'm the one who insists she eats the food put down to her, which today she doesnt want, even though its her favourite. Hope you have a better day today, Daff.

Morning SM Daff and Mr Daff, hope today is better for you.The weather is not the best here very dismal and damp. I have been spit and polishing my boots and buttons ready for the next inspection , I was wondering where to buy some thermal wear in the troop colours as don't want to be cold when doing outside manoovers. lol.

Have left some cold roast beef in the fridge if anyone wants a sarnie also some pickles in the cupboard.

Now I'm going to do some tea making manoovers anyone want a cuppa with their sarnie?(can do coffee or hot chocolate as well)

Dry sunny day today but with a fearsome gale.Hung bed linen on the line with hundreds nay fousands of pegs,but still the beggars blew away :O( lol

My polished shiney boots are standing proudly to attention in the hall ready for inspection.

Evening SM Daff, Mr Daff and all the squad.

Just realised I didn't book in this morning - think I got distracted by the dreaded H****w**k! This glitter gets everywhere and I have visitors at the weekend, so needed to clear up my 'uniform and wellies' from the spare room.

It has been a very windy and slightly wet day here, at least I haven't had to water the turf we put down last week. I had the same battle with the line as Mau, and ended up with everything on the clothes horse in the hall. Very elegant!!

I hope today has been a better day, and that the felines are behaving themselves. They will have you trained soon, Mr Daff.
