Hi SM. Daff hope all is well and your 'hospital manoovers' are going to plan,and of course Mr Daff is recovering from his man flu poor lad ;o

It's been a beautiful day here and me and im went to see the 'near completion' of the Spanish City on Whitley sea front,even went to the very top,fantastic views.
Wonderful to see inside the iconic building once again, where did my youth go?......oh there he is running across the sands >>>>>>>

Will get a small boat out to fish Maz,it's in me blood lol.....what size fishy on a little dishy would everyone like?

Helloee everyone, did someone dig the spuds for maz if not I'll send Oh round to do it. The pies and crumbles were lovely and I managed to not get much juice down my front. Perhaps I need a lime green bib for messy food.lol.

I'm sure Daff will love being known as The Royal Daff.

Mau are you going sea or river fishing? If river a small trout would be nice)

I have been very good today and done the ir**ing manoovers. Tomorrow I shall do the foraging for food ones at the local shops, Does anyone want anything special from the shops?

Argh!....GHD p1

Not the best of days for Daff - all her veins went on manouevers just when 'they' wanted to put some blood in her. How the medics couldn't see all those orange jackets baffles me.....!!! Even tried one throught the yellow wellies, but camo' so good they failed there too....
However, eventually succeeded and fitted a Central Line ((3 tubes with colours in keeping with the uniform, but looks a bit like a firework display in the form of the fleur de lis!!)).
First prep drug administered tonight, so no going back now - and chemo proper begins tomorrow.
Not the best of days, but know you'll be there for her.
Laptop should be up and running tmw, but not sure when Daff will be on line yet....she's in an inner room in the hospital so mobile coverage may not be good - we'll see.
My stag now, so night all - 'be in touch.

Thanks R, sorry Daff didn't have a good day with the veins. Hope tomorrow is a better one and hope she is soon able & willing to get on line. You take care and don't forget to feed the cats!!!

Thanks for the update. Sorry it has been a trying day for Daff. We shall all be with her, and you, through this, wearing our uniforms, complete with glitter and wellies.

Try to sleep well and give her our love when you see her tomorrow.

o well the fish is in abundance all gutted BC and cleaned
I read this in the echo yesterday that a group of ladies in cowboy hats hired a Village hall to take some saucy pictures for a calender lol ,the elderly villagers were very shocked .so what manoovers were going on yesterday lol

Morning Daff and all:-) Hope you had a peaceful night. I was woken up at 3am by at least fifty firemen on my patio wall putting out a fire! As I couldnt find my specs (but made sure my teeth were in), and it was rather dark, I am not sure if they were hunky or otherwise. Hunky I should think:-)

You kept popping into my mind all day yesterday Daff . Poor you , you must be feeling like a pin cushion after all that stabbing yesterday : ((

BC ...... how many firemen ???? are you sure it wasn't all just a very exciting dream ? .......lol.......I admire you quick thinking with the teeth there : ))) I hope there wasn't to much damage .

Darned machine... someone could have darned it a bit betterer!!

It has eaten one lot of my words, and is now complaining of tummy ache....

I am like a colander... 7 attempts to get a cannulla in so I could have platelets, before they then had to take blood to check they'd worked, before the could put the central line in. Bliss this morning though, as the blood was taken with no messing around... easy peasy. The Hickman line goes in on Monday, and currently, I am having my second lot of chemo... a four hour IV thingy.
Is anyone else having a problem with their reply box? I can't see what I am typing. I ti very frustrating.

I have my own warship? Wow!!
