I think as our leading is currently indisposed we need to be organised.

We need someone on guard duty in case our cowboy hats suddenly start disappearing and someone on undercover duty to keep an eye on the Strictly wardrobe.

I think I can be excused spying duties for a couple of weeks but I will be keeping an eye on things from afar. *puts on dark glasses and large pink sunhat, wont be noticed here amongst the 'normal' clothes worn.

Sorry I am late reporting for duty. I had to go to the town, had a good look around the market, went to the bank and came home loaded with lots of fresh fruit & veg. The victoria plums are (well most were) lovely - I have eaten half of them already.

I hope Daff is settled into her new barracks, and that she is being well looked after. I'm sure they like her uniform and that she managed to find a suitable dressing gown. She will have them all 'licked into shape' and marching well.

Hope you got your fleece throw and all else you needed before you went in. Never fear, your OH will call on his army training and come up trumps.

You will be devastated to know that I was caught in a Monsoon this afternoon and was soaked to the skin even down to my glittery thong...*wrings out said item...I think we should go back to wearing those lime green bloomers...just in case we have to climb ladders and suchlike....
