Lol.... I know just what you mean Ann.

I thought the same about the organza ribbon on a box of special chocolates.

Do you think we're conditioned to covet all things orange?

Thanks Jude.
Well, so there we were pouring the bubby and a face appeared at the kitchen window. Our Daff on her way to Blackpool. Yes I know a slight detour to deliver my pressie and card. Lovely to see her but sadly they didn't have time to join us in a glass, they had been unavoidable delayed. Hope they eventually got there anyway as the M5 was a bit of a pig earlier today.

That sounds just like the sort of thing Daff would do, bless her:o))

Morning fellow soldiers,

I hope SM Daff is enjoying her trip to the seaside. I don't suppose she will be paddling as the sea will be a little chilly.

Have a happy weekend all.

Ann what a lovely suprise for you, does that mean on our birthdays Daff will be passing our kitchen windows, lol.
I'm not a happy bunny this morning someone decided to throw a bollard at our bedroom window at 3.50 am this morning and it has made a small hole and shattered part of the window, made a hell of a noise and we are now waitng for it to be boarded up, then we couldn't get back to sleep for hours then the police phoned early to take a statement over the phone so that woke us up again.
Hope you all have a peacefull weekend, x

Mummo, who knows. Luckily we were sort of on her route and R knows where we are.
Oh how horrid for you. What are these stupid louts doing around at that time of the morning. I hope the police catch them, although don't hold out much hope. Not nice having your windows boarded up either. Sorry to hear about it. It makes me sooo cross.

Morning Daff and all,

Lovely morning here - blue sky and bright sunshine. Out into the garden today to do battle with the weeds.

Mummo - I hope the window was boarded quickly and that it isn't too long before the glass is replaced. These mindless morons - no thought for anyone. What do their parents teach them?

Carol - your poor OH. That sounds very painful and I hope the wait isn't too long at A & E. I do hope it isn't as bad as you fear.

I hope the seaside trip is going well, with lots of fun with little people.

Love,
Elisabeth xx

Hope Daff and family are enjoying the seaside and the weather is good for them.

bye for now off to explore the boards then must feed my troups.
