The weather has been very changeable here, too..... and very cold, I think.

Lol BC.... didn't bother in the end!! Well, just the one to be sociable.... R finished that for me, lol.... he is now on call until Sunday 10pm, so can't have another, bless him.

Maz.... you're on holiday.... let the washing wait one day and put your feet up! Mind you, I am just as bad... we are having fish today, but tomorrow's spagh bol (special request from Littlie) is already prepared and in the slow cooker, all her clothes are either in the wash or the tumble dryer ready to pack later on. *sigh* the visit goes so quickly!

Mau.... I am jealous, so jealous of your blue skies.... but isn't your dizziness getting any better? That is awful.... one of my chemo's had that effect... the neurological damage was quite bad, but it did improve dramatically eventually, and it was worse than anything else. I was told it was similar in some ways to Labyrinthitis, but my whole body was affected as well as my balance, eyesight etc. I never want to go through that again, so I empathise fully with you. ((((((((hugs)))))))

Littlie goes back home tomorrow, after lunch, and I am dreading it.

She has been well this time, so her mood has been sunny the entire stay, and she is a delight. When they have been poorly, they are harder work, and one can't help but sigh with relief that you can have time to oneself again. But she is like the girl with the curl, well, she never gets horrid, but you know what I mean... when she is good, she really is good.

Oh well, only 4 weeks til her next stay, lol

Belated anniversary wishes Daff, hope you manage to have a day out next week.
Jean thank you for the pretty card, it is lovely.

We had a lovely week, blue skies and sun all week, a couple of cooler days when it was windy but still sunny and warm where it was sheltered. But most of the week was pleasantly warm and we were in shorts and sun tops. Loved the area, very much like Tenerife really, SiL drove all week so T had a rest too, we managed to get around quite a bit to see places. good to be home although I could wish it was drier and warmer!!!!!

Littlie has gone back.... R was up most of last night with a temperature, D & V, and I started about 5.30 am....

So no posh steak, hung for at least 28 days, for us today, lol Something light, I think.... chicken soup in the freezer.

Sister (H, Ann, the one in the white skirt) wanted me to go to her daughter's in Llandeilo.... I get spoiled when I am there, and those children are brilliant, but I didn't feel up to it, and nor did I want to pass anything on.... R has just waved the thermometer under my nose... temp of 37.8... and do I think it is Swine flu? Well if it is he will have short shrift from me.... he was supposed to be vaccinated, and he never got around to it, lol

It is more likely to be Norvirus... and B had it last week.... I came out in sympathy, then, too, lol

Right.... off to google something really scary, lol... that'll sort him ;¬))

Daff Sorry to hear you and R are feeling poorly hope it goes soon.

D has gone out so I have the boys here till tomorrow afternoon and then every day except weekends till they go back to school. OH is working overtime every day so at least I'll not have 3 boys to control lolol he does like to torment them and wind them up then Mom wants to know why they are hyper!!! hoping the weather will get better so we can get to the park or at least in the garden.

Ann it's nice to see you back ,pleased you had a good time.

Have read your thread Mummo and glad you have started to get things sorted re benefits etc.

Morning all... well, I am not too bad today, and managed a bit of toast, but R is still temp up and down like a yo yo, and he only managed a bite of his toast... this is always the way when he is about to start any leave.... and then he is wiped out for the rest of it. I recover much more quickly, always have done. So, no gardening for him this week, he'll feel too rough.... and I want to go to Peterborough, so have to balance the one against the other. If I crack the garden whip, he'll be too tired to drive all that way and back.

Littlie seems ok, Ann... have you caught up with all the washing yet? That is the problem with a holiday, isn't it? So pleased the weather stayed fine for you, though.... what a boost for your system, and just right to get you acclimatised for your month away. As I recall, your Lake District holiday last year you had dreadful weather?

~~~~~ to Ginnie... not sure what I want to do today... I had a list, but that has been thrown out of the window... I am not sure whether to cook the lamb leg I have, either, just in case we feel better later..... As far as winding the grandchildren up.... I am afraid that is me, lolol! Littlie has gone back home with a couple of new words and sayings, thanks to Granny, lol... I'm knackered being a favourite!!

I have been playing around with the security on my system... I have had AVG on trial, and I rather like it.... easy, straightforward language that I can understand... but I have almost 9 months left on the Kaspersky... it wouldn't reload when I had that pc crash a few weeks ago... anyway, AVG ran out today, so I have been trying to get Kaspersky to reload... which it did, just as I was about to throw a humungous wobbly, lol I find Kaspersky excellent.... if only I could understand what it asks of me!

I am sure my pc crash was to do with updates on it and Windows clashing.... but what the heck do I know, lol?

Sun has come out to play, so I am off to amble around the garden, lol

you made me laugh at the new words you taught littley,
reminds me of the ones howie taught our daughter,
she used to come out with usually in supper market in sandhurst,
look at that cheeky bugger mam,

now its time for us to teach little grandaughter words,
her favorite at the moment is blimey charlie,
and good garden seed, used when shocked or exasperated, she does say the odd others but it easy wehn they listen to everything, lol
had to teach her that as she was picking up a few stronger ones
son thought sounded hysterical,
but i thought not becoming of a laydee,

Hi, went to car boot this morning as once again l was on my last book, was very lucky ,found one stall that l managed to get 12 books for £2.50...........bargain, had to take Ed with me today as he was awake when l got up this morning so no sneaking out, lol.
Daff so sorry you and OH are feeling yuk, hope you both get better soon.
Ann bet your glad to be home with this lovely weather were having , lol..(sorry).
