Morning all.... beautiful day here.... Madam is watching Dora... we have just finished playing shop... and the rug isn't slipping... one of the tomatoes now has two true leaves out, and threee of the cucumber have sprouted *sighs happily*

The salad stuff is also showing lots of new growth... it is outside, so I shall go and have a look in a moment.....

We are going to be planting cress and some peas.... also sweet peas for flowers.... but waiting for daddy to get up to do that.

Must go.... the activity book has been presented to me........ looks like Dora has finished, lolol.... or been bored with..... see you all later.

Morning Daff...so spring has finally sprung by the sounds of it! Isn't it just lovely to see the shoots peeping up..I am finding that plants I thought had died are just showing a teensy weensy bit of life in em! Like me, really! pmsl, Not a bad day here and have successfully conned my dog into thinking the clocks havent changed...

Put the roast on and thought l'd have a drink while doing it, well 4drinks later and having eaten most of my dinner , thought l'd best pour just one more and take it to bed with me , lol..............very nice thankyou but have woke up feeling very heavy :(((((

Morning all... morning BC... poor little doggie... she'd whinge much more if she wasn't taken out, I expect, lol

~~~to Maz... yes, it is Good Friday this week... I am not sure what we are doing on Thursday, I am expecting to be taken out and treated to a lovely meal... but I doubt it, lol..... hubby is a wonderful man, and I wouldn't change him for the world... but he isn't very good to pick up on massive great hints! I think he has the day off... not even too sure about that lolol

I had a busy day yesterday with madam... but am not feeling wonderful today... not horrendously so, just sniffly and headachey... I think I have a cold coming on. I couldn't get comfy last night, at all... even got up and tried to write about myself, lolol.... didn't work for me.... it got my mind racing, and I was still awake at 7..... got up, for the umpteenth time, made a cuppa, went back to bed with it.... and there it was, 10am, cup of tea stone cold, lol

There was a customer in the hairdressers who was coughing and sneezing all over the place, so I expect that is where I got it from.... I am not a very patient patient.... and that is an anomaly if ever I saw one... patients aren't, are they? Well, unless they are unconscious, lolol

Madam is eating Granny's poached egg on toast, as well as her own...... she has shot up in just a month, and is forever hungry... last time she was here she was unwell, and we had a job coaxing her to eat at all... hollow legs she has now, lol

well.... she has now taken over my lap.... and we have her fishing game taking over the keyboard and a repeated request for row row row your boat..... which involves physical activity the way we play it! *groans*

Hello all,
Yesterday I had gr/children doing decorated eggs to take to school and we made quite a mess lol soon cleared up though.
Today is very very wet so I have just done H/W and put a casserole in the slow cooker then I've been searching for rellies.

Daff it sound as if your littlie is having a growth spurt. 2 of mine have hollow legs quite often and the youngest one at 6yrs old hardly eats but is very healthy so that is what matters.
Sorry to hear you are sniffly hope it goes soon.

hope we get to see some of the finished products...please.....managed to get some cards done , but havent alot of room to store stuff, so will have to see if I can come with a better solution, wish I could afford the fantastic craft storage, but at the price it is cant justify it....sadly....Hope the sniffles go away quickly Daff,

We shall go together, BC... and have a never ending stream of young handsomes topping up our *glasses of something by our sides* lolol Mwah back... you wouldn't know what to do with yourself as a total lady of leisure.... you would have to fill in the time somehow or that poor wee doggy will have worn her paws down to her elbows, lol.... you could write that book!!

We are having hail at the moment... very miserable it is, too.... Maz, I haven't looked at the Easter forecast... I do know that some Welsh folksy types.... who get it right every year, and forecast a damp squib of a summer last year, and a cold winter to follow, have said that we should have a June July and August that will outdo the records for scorchers, so dig out your suntan lotion and BBQ's, lol

We'll see.

~~~~ to Jean. I am not too bad, just the sniffles still, and yesterday I was exhausted after two wakeful nights.... I took some sleeping tablets last night and slept until just after 10 am.... so I am sore this morning... can't win, lol.... it's because I have slept so soundly, I didn't change position, so have stiffened up... it'll unkink soon... it has started to ease already with moving around. Madam is having a second breakfast... daddy gave it to her this morning, and that is unheard of here.... breakfast time is girly time.... so she sent daddy up on his pc and then demanded Cheerio's, lol

Hiya Ginnie.... this one is eating me out of house and home, lolol.... she hates having her hair done... but I have a *special comb* lol (a bit like magic granny kisses and a dollop of face cream to ease minor bumps and indignities, lol) and loads of hair adornments, so she has now gathered them all together, put her green chair in front of the sofa, and is awaiting the arrival of the hair specialist... me! lol plaits today, she says, lol.... hope my hands are up to the job. ;¬))

We will make a card for daddy for Easter later.....

Better go... she is impatient.... wonder where she got that particular gene, lolol!

morning all Daff its not as wet here at the moment ,found our big daddy guinea pig dead yesterday he was my favourite ,he was a good age though about 6 we think
two days left to go I am going to do things like check the freezer and cupboards and stock up so i am not panicing when the wedding lands on us .

Morning from a wet and windy Portsmouth.
Got to go out this morning to see if l can buy daughter a second hand car,
When she split up from OH he took her new car offf her ( control freak) and said she couldn't have it till she went back to him, as if that would make her go back. Only getting her a run-a-round as she needs one to get to her hospital appointments and as she lives up near Chester l can't take her.
Well Daff has littlin worn you out yet ????? lol.

Have woken up really late so doggie has left a pool on carpet. The cheek! Will have to get down on my knees. ouch. and scrub it in a minute. Otherwise *looks out of the window...well, it's raining...lol..

Mmmm I noticed that, BC... oh well, never mind!!

I haven't had a wonderful day, creaks and groans wise, lol..... very achey, so much so that Little madam has taken to copying me as I struggle to get about, lol... lttle monkey!! But I have enjoyed my day, none the less... my Bokashi system has arrived, and I shall let you know how it works.... two weeks, and the first lot should be well composted/pickled, lol The first bucketful is fermenting away, the second ready to go.

Then I tidied up and waved a duster at a few cobwebs... son vacuumed (sort of, he missed loads!!) and I kept madam amused with dustpan and brush, damp cloth... one square inch of a kitchen door has been scrubbed to within an inch of it's life, lol... and all dressed up in her Snow White dress., we have had to call her Snow White, too... she is refusing to answer to her proper name.

Then the previous owner of Jessie (three legged cat) brought her 3 1/2 year old to visit.... they got on like a house on fire, but so funny to watch... My Littlie is tall for her age, and already outgrowing her 4 to 5 clothes, and her 9GG shoes. This Littlie is very small for her age... wears a 4 1/2 shoe, and 2 to 3 clothes, and only 3 months between them, I think!

They made butterfly pictures, and drew houses, then made Easter cards for daddies... and wooden spoon puppets... ate for Britain, ran around the garden in between showers, and both sobbed when it was time for E to go home. It was so good to hear them giggling and laughing together. And all I did was sit there, give a guiding hand, a dollp of paint and a judicious smidgeon of glue when appropriate.... oh, and I made a rather splendid butterfly picture myself, too, lolol

Maz, that is such a shame... but that is a good old age for a guinea pig! Sounds like you have a busy holiday ahead!

I am off to sort out dinner, now.... an easy one, sausage and mash, I am not bothering too much... I will cook all next week, with R home.

morning all well last shift for two weeks yes !!
my jobs tomorrow is to clear some clutter and address storage not having moved for some 17years i have hoarded it was good packing up every two years or so as it saved all the clutter accumulating lol

Morning all. *sobs... had no tinternet since yesterday morning due to flooding somewhere. It's ridiculous how reliant one has become on that wotsit! But I got a lot of things done and am reading a really good book. You won't believe this, but the sun is out here and the skies are blue! Yeehaww!!

Hope your aches are less achey today, Daff. *waves to Maz who is jumping up and down for some reason...lol...

Morning all... I was up late this morning... Littlie has been patiently colouring in on daddy's computer while she waited for me... she refused to have her breakfast with daddy, wanted to wait until Granny got up, bless her... and before the NSPCC and Social Services are called out, Grampie had given her one of his yoghurt (Actimel) drinks and a banana, so she was fine... daddy could doss in bed, cos the pc is in his room, and so Littlie is supervised.... but she likes the *downstairs* time with me in the morning, bless her. No way was she going anywhere without me.

So she has had her Coco Pops (I know, call in the Health Defective, lol) and drunk all the gungy milk, and is now steadfastly peeling a stubborn clemantine, lol. We have loaded the washing machine, and the dishwasher.... and they are now sorted... so she is having a rest now (that sounded funny, lolol) on the sofa, peeling her clemantine and watching Madagascar.

Hubby is on call all weekend, and then he is off next week, so we shall have a belated meal out then. I had hoped he would be off today, but they are busy at work. Never mind..... story of our lives, really, lol

BC, I am still not wonderful, but taking it fairly easy.... dinner today will be shepherd's pie, quick and simple, Littlie and I will sort the veg out together... I peel, she eats, lol... system works perfectly! ;¬)) I was lost the other week when my pc crashed..... this piece of technology has quickly become the right arm of lots of us, hasn't it?

~~~~~ to Maz... that is the problem.... we were in the last place 6 years, almost... well, we moved in that time, but only across the road, when they were renovating the quarters..... but I brought stacks of rubbish with me here.... and also, we still have all his kit, desert, temperate, and arctic, lol.... including NBC.... plus mess kits for both messes... why he didn't get shot of the Sgt's mess one, I don't know!!.... his No 2's etc....he has a couple of sleeping bags, plus stuff he acquired from the Americans.... he will sort it, one day, I am sure, lolol He is a worse hoarder than me!

Well..... Madam is fed up with Ceebeebies, has peeled and eaten her clementine.... and now wants to play.... in the shower.

Hello and ~~~~~~to all.
It was beautiful here this morning and I stripped the beds and got the washing dry but now it is pouring down and also cold.

It is my gr/son's birthday today and they popped in after school to say hello and to tell me that he was a runner up in the decorated egg comp. he won a creme egg and his brother won 1st prize with his entry and won a big choc egg. So all the crafty bits and resulting mess was worth it lolol.

Happy anniversary Daff and Mr Daff , have put a message on your thread.
I also have a man in a million seems there are a few around , we celebrated our 40th last November, the years have just flown by .
