Not a good weekend so far then Mummo, hope there are no serious repercussions for Ed from his fall, I expect it shook him up, and you if you were there. How did he come to fall?
Yes Dunelm is good, not sure where there is one in that area.

Mummo, as far as I can tell there is not a store in Portsmouth, your nearest is Southampton, couldn't see the exact address though.

Thanks for that Ann, will try to go soon. As you know Ed has to have his bed in the sitting room at the moment and he isn't to good on his feet yet and just wobbled a bit and that was it , hit the corner of the bed then went into the dining room table then onto the floor, l was upstairs and wonder what the heck was going on and yes did shake him up badly. (I have noticed since the accident how grey he's got) So its been a day in bed for him.

Hope he feels better tomorrow and that it doesn't dent his confidence too much. Would a stick help him to balance?

Morning Daff and everyone:o)
Drizzling today, but l don't think its as cold. Snow due tomorrow!!!! Vic went off at 8.30 for a 12 mile walk with the ramblers, he was so excited:o))
Mummo..... please put more water or milk in Eds drinks. honestly though joking aside l am sorry to hear about his fall yesterday, hope he's feeling ok today, bless him he's been through it and you too!!
Madoc has been abit quiet yesterday and today, not sure what it is, he's jumpy. He had a good game with Rosco from next door (the Lab puppy), l let them play too long and he's limping now (back leg), it was only for 5-6 mins and l kept Rosco on the lead, seems he can't play like that anymore:o(((...but he was quiet before that!
We did eventually enjoy our lunch at whetherpoons, it took ages arriving and the pud after, had to remind the waiter twice!!! The floor manager came over for a chat (we know him) and dropped all the plates....what a mess, but he soon sorted it. He said they were so busy and had plenty of staff....just perhaps some not as organised as others!!!!
Ok have a nice day everyone, hope all of you who are poorly feel better soon:o))

~~~~~~ manically... I am back... I have had no Internet... not a sausage... all three of us wandering around aimlessly cos we couldn't get online, lol...... I am only here briefly... just cos I can... I have to get Jethro back in to the vet... his paw is a real mess this morning.... I think he is going to have to wear one of those collars... he'll love that, NOT!!
I have tidied my desk, my craft area, and also zapped no end of old paperwork... amazing what you keep, isn't it?
Oh, and I have offended my sister... she has opened an account on one of the geneology sites for her 13 year old son... who has promptly put all his aunties and uncles, and his cousins, and with no privacy settings on them... I suggested that he should do this... and also that if it is a public site, then he must ask permission of all those relatives who are living... and he can take my granddaughter's details off.... I then was told by his dad... that these names have been asked for, and being shared with.... a 5 x times removed gt uncle, who shares the same name as nephew.... now why on earth would this man want my family, my husbands family and my granddaughter's mother's family details?
I find it somewhat alarming... but have had BiL slam phone down when I suggested that Data Protection, nephew's age, and also..... Identity fraud left his son and his family very vulnerable, then sister phoned me back to ask if I was pleased with myself as I had upset her son so much!!
I really can't be messed with my family, at the moment...
Do you think I was right to have alarm bells going off... and fgs he is only 13... she was threatening to get him an account on here... but I shall report that straight away.... especially if he has my name, and my family's name on his tree.....
*spits some feathers*
Right... see you all later... must get to vet
Love
*tidies up all the feathers and makes a cushion...poor Jethro, Daff, oh do let us know how he gets on and he will just hate that collar wont he, they all do! As for families *spits....they make me grateful I have good friends.... LOL
Raining all night and day here, and my phone broke down yesterday and therefore had no internet connection either, Daff!!! I was at such a loss I felt quite guilty when I realised how much I rely on my pc...and I couldnt get my new fancy wotsit dancing phone to make a phone call even though I can access emails on it!!
Anyway am back on again, had to buy a new phone. I do hope nobody is snowed under and you are all wearing pink wellies...I saw crocuses in bloom today...so spring cant be far, can it??
No wonder it was so quiet on here yesterday with both of you off line!!!! Glad you have gone live again anyway.
Daff, of course you are right and if you find out which site he has been joined as a member I suggest you check their rules. Many sites have the no living people rule. I would suggest he buys a simple family tree programme, there is one in PC world for about £10, very basic but if it is the same as one I had several years back, it works. he can then print off details and send to people without them being available for all to see.
When you have calmed down maybe go back to them and explain about why it is necessary that there are no details about your granddaughters on there especially. tell them, never mind they are upset, they have upset you too. But calm down first Lol!!!!! No good spitting feathers at them, they wont know what to do with them. lovely cushion BC!!
Lol Ann.... have calmed down, now... Jethro hid away... missed his appointment... I managed to get one for this evening... no collar yet, but have to take him back in a few days for another check... he is on stronger antibiotics now, so we'll see what happens next.
Got to the car, strapped Jethro into the seat, and then realised I had left the tablets on the side... but the receptionist came out then waving them..... got home, with one crying, cajoling, whinging puddy cat... turned into my driveway, and remembered my debit card..... yep, still sitting comfortably in the machine thingy... they phoned as I got in... they are locking it away for me until I go to collect the nasty stuff (I have to spray it on his paw to see if it stops him chewing it!!) tomorrow lunchtime.
Family? Well, I am going into solitary confinement for a while... my Littlie is coming to stay soon, and I shall hide until she comes down..... She'll cheer me up no end... I have bought her some craft stuff.... and we shall sit side by side and make things..... she is such an easy little soul... she will cut and stick, glitter and glue for hours if we let her.
I have bought her a scooter aimed at older girls... 4 plus... three wheels, so she should be able to manage it fine... she will have fun on that in the park next week, I have the elbow and knee pads already... she puts them on just to walk around the garden.
I think we will have Sunday dinner out this week...... that'll be nice.
Oh well... back to reading my magazines... that pillow looks very nice, by the way, BC..... I think it adds a little something to the thread, don't you think? lol
Oh... I have pink slip on pink wellie type things... well they were pink once... and you can still see a little bit of pink if you look hard enough........
Ann, I am sure I will find out which site... best thing is I have a disc with an old FTM... 5 I think... that I had said he could have, and another that was free in a magazine... it does look quite good..... but nope... he wanted a proper grown up site, so that is what his parents are allowing him....Grrrrrr!! lolol
Have a good evening everyone.....
Love
Daff xxxxx
PS........ *whispers* BC, do you think that Ann is trying to say we are noisy? Us?? Never, no no no no!! ;¬))
Welcome back Daff and BC, I haven't been doing much as I have been watching the ice skating at the olympics on iplayer it's the only bit I really enjoy and am looking forward to the free style dance tomorrow.
Families can be such a trial sometimes can't they, and yes I would be annoyed if I found my grandchildren on another tree. I noticed on FB that some of my OH family have photos of their youngsters on there,my D thinks they are mad.( I am not on FB by the way I have enough trouble with family tree sites)
My dear OH has just made me a cuppa, such a nice man lol
Hiya Ginnie... I shall pop in and have a look in a mo... I am looking for an easter egg shaped punch... I bought a butterfly one today..... My desk is now covered in cute little butterflies.... they will be just big enough to put lettering on for titles, I think...... well, it was half the price of a packet of ciggies, and seeing as I don't smoke....... ;¬))
Thank you for that... my sisters (two of them now) think that I am over-reacting. What really gets up my nose is that it was the ex husband of the one who stole my son's details and passport, along with hers, and sold them on... I kid you not! There were ructions over it at the time, the police were involved, and now she is allowing her own son from her second marriage to put himself and others into a very vulnerable position that could have similar repercussions... they have no idea who this person is who is asking for our family details... from a 13 year old boy?
Pah.... hold me back before I thump her one, lolol!!
Love
