hello all....
Ann mine has been very boring, lol...... painkillers for my hip... this one is very sore, lol but I was reassured that it was *an excellent sample* as though that compensates for being kicked by a mule, lol.... still, the slides can *show up* stuff at a visual, if you know what you are looking for... and all looks excellento, so pleased about that... Oh, and the reasoning behind all that waffle is that sore hip, sore head plus painkillers equals lots of naps!! Just woken up, now. I am sorry to say I haven't checked my e-mails at all... you can thump me (gently mind) when you see me!! What's a cuttlebug?
Hiya Huia... how are you? I'll answer your pm in a moment, I promise.
Taff... Magaloof (well, I don't know how to spell it, either) sells things like donkies and straw hats, doesn't it? I can see those hung up on your wall... but it'll be lovely to have him back again, As far as digging holes is concerned, in an odd kind of way, you get used to it... it's not so much the drawing out of the fluid... that just feels peculiar, but not painful (until this time) but the putting in of the novocaine... now that wasn't as painful as usual. And as this was my 6th, I am a bit of an expert on them now.... but your hip is a bit sore for a few days afterwards.
Hiya Jac... I have an image of mars bar plants strategically placed around your garden, lol!! Your garden sounds stunning! Do you plan it all for colour/size etc, or just shove a new plant in and hope it likes the spot... and move it if it gets out of hand or looks out of place? I'm a bit of a shover inner myself... as long as I know the spot will be liked. To blazes with colour co-ordination... alter that by putting sommat else between two clashers... but then, I like a bit of a clash, it adds vibrancy and is eye catching.
Liz, we have just put in one little bit of the garden... the rest of the back has had some of the structural plants in, but it needs all the smaller shrubs, and filler-inners now, so that is what we are doing, bit by bit. And then we can start on the front!! Some of the stuff from the back will do nicely in the front........ and the side.. and we are also having a patio area out there, as it catches the last of the sun, when R comes home.... it'll be lovely, won't it?
Loads of love

Hi Daff, a Cuttlebug is a machine for making die cuts, of flowers, butterflies and other things for card making and scrap booking.
Oh, so you were sleeping. Don't blame the hip, blame the wine and sherry.

Good morning, off to the chiropodist this morning. Not sure if I have hay fever or the start of a cold but a blocked nose and a tickly cough *sigh. Grandson wasn't well over the weekend, he had a sore throat, probably caught that. Wonder what will happen if i sneeze at the airport on saturday?? Probably be locked up and quarantined!!

S'all right Ann... we'll get up an escape committee if they quarantine you, lolol Hope you are feeling better soon.
Maz, there was a bit of *maintenance* going on, I think..... no-one could post more than a few words, and then it would blank out.... but everyone had to start a new topic, cos it wouldn't let anyone add to an existing thread,,,, very funny, as it turned out!!
Weather is beautiful here...... I have loads of swearing to do... son and granddaughter are coming to stay tomorrow for just under a week.... she is like a whirling dervish, bless her.... always smiling and giggling though! So I need to S-proof the house! I do have strict instructions from R to take it easy..... but he'll do all the *heavy* stuff tomorrow.
Must go.... load one has finished and needs hanging out... and I haven't even walked around the boards yet to see what is happening!
See you later
Love

Ann in Glos, I thought Chiropodists dealt in feet, not in blocked noses and tickly coughs. Though I think they now call them podiatrists.
I hope your trouble isnt swine fever!
Huia.

Lol Jude, it was funny, wasn't it?? I have to have all my childhood vaccinations again... not for a while yet, but when my blood gets to *normal*........ I just think it's another excuse to stick pins and needles in me, myself! No corn dolly here, they are using the real thing, lol ;¬((
Well, it is still sunny here... one load dried, and is *airing* in the dryer for 20 minutes (saves the 45minutes it would take me to iron, lol) and 2nd load on the line... 3rd load is on.
~~~~~~~~~ waves BC's little darlings off!! Bless... is that their ages, BC? Mine are similar ages... in June I will have them both here together, which will be lovely, lol Mind you... I still have the extra beds to buy!!
Hello Huia, over here we have podiatrists and chiropodists... podiatrists are more highly trained, I believe, and can perform some types of surgery... chiropodists are the *GP* of the foot world. But no... they don't normally sort out bunged up doses and tickly throats, lol
Must go and sort drying out..... be back soon.
Love
Daff xxxx
Huia, not even a cold so far, more likely to be hay fever. No not swine fever either, not even sneezing or coughing really, feel OK and only one couple so far in Gloucestershire with suspected and they went straight from airport to home and got medical attention.
Hiya Ann... do your tootsies feel wonderful after their treatment? I used to love the chiropodist in Gloucester... she had the same name as me, lol!! And there would be another client sat next to you..... so you could have a right old natter, lol!! My feet would feel wonderful for days afterwards. Bliss!!
I didn't hang around too much, Maz, just popped in and out... long enough to let everyone know I was a bit over indulgent with the celebratory vino, lol ;¬))
Am off for a lie down... 3 loads of washing done, out on the line, then into dryer for a blast of hot air! All now neatly folded... R will bring them upstairs for me. It has been very breezy here.... with sunshine, so perfect for drying.. hark at me, I am beginning to sound like a domestic goddess, lololol!!
Oh well.... nap time!! See you all later!
Love
