I have not posted on Daff's thread before but read it regually to check on her progress. Such a shame the other thread has been deleted it must have given Daff such support when times were bad. I will also write and ask GR why they deleted it.
Hoping you all (especially Daff) have a lovely weekend and that you have the beautiful weather that we have here.

Im so sorry you have lost yet another lovely thread Daff. Im sure GR will come back saying it was a glitch as sure to god no one could of had a problem with your thread it was blumming lovely.

And if anyone did report it I hope they are satisfied with their actions the low spiteful &@!*$

No wonder I couldn't find it!! it's a real shame Taff that your lovely thread has gone, and so many others are still here after flipping months! anyway here's to another.....oops no that's what I say tonight lol

Another one gone walkies??? Do you think it was something to do with the length of the thread? I mean, there might be something in the GR whatsit that cuts things off when it gets to a certain length? DOH - I know what I mean!!

anyway love, another has been started and onwards and upwards is the cry!

Bit breezy here - blossom taking a hammering but washing drying nicely. Just found the toilet leaking and waiting for Dynarod of whoever to arrive - I could spit!!! Hey ho - I shall have to widdle on the roses if they dont hurry up!!!

Thought you'd like to know about OH's really senior moment (well more like 2 hours) today.

We woke early and decided to go and do the food shop as I had a hair appointment at 12.15. so we were at T****s at 0830!!! Not been known for many years that but that is not his senior moment. got the shopping (after sneaking in breakfast of egg and beans on toast in the cafe! Which was full of Glawster supporters on their way to the big match at Twickenham, stoking up before they went, with only 2 staff in to cook for them because T****s forgot about the match!!)
Went home and fiddled about doing bits, washing etc. Hung the washing out and at 11.50 said OK I'm off, I want to go to the PO first. Said goodbye and went. Nearly two hours later I get home. OH looks at hair (I had the colour done so he couldn't miss it!!) said, 'Oh I thought you were a long time at the post office!!! I pointed out I had been gone 2 hours, 'yes, I thought you had gone for a long walk!!!' I did point out that had he been missing for 2 hours I just might have gone looking for him. The strange thing to me is that he wasn't really worried, as if he is used to me going off for 2 hours on a long walk leaving him here. And it was on the calendar, and he knew about it first thing this morning!!!! Lol Lol!!!

Taff, not to nit pick but shouldn't this be Daff part 3???

Lol Ann......... R wouldn't have really noticed, either........ well he wouldn't have before I got the lurgy, but since then he has been my willing slave, and constantly looking for me to give me a pill/drink/meal/take my temperature etc... it feels like every five minutes!!

I have calmed down a bit now... still cross, but hey ho, these things happen. The important thing is that I was able to read all those lovely, funny and supportive posts when I needed them most of all, and no matter what part of the cyber world they are inhabiting... well, I still have all that love, support, good wishes and funny stories, jokes etc close to my heart anyway!! R would print them off and bring them in for me during my last stay..... he read them out loud to me on the days I was too poorly to read them myself, so I still have those, and Jax sent me loads... and Taff has some of them, too, so all is not lost.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the thread, and to those who looked in to see how I was doing...... you all kept me laughing and sane, and really cheered me up..... oh, and my lovely fella.... he also felt so much support when he was giving you updates....... bless him, the white things in the kitchen will never be the same, lol!!

Oh... and some of the very long threads haven't been touched...... so it probably isn't anything to do with the length..... someone likely got distracted as they were deleting sommat else and their delete finger slipped!!

Last night when I discovered the thread was no longer there, I thought that either you or Taff had decided to remove it. I must say I was really disappointed, so it was nice to see that Taff had started another thread.

Sallie, there is/was no way one gods green earth that I would have deleted my own thread, even by mistake! I was careful enough to change the page number accurately, and do spell checks, LOL.

Afternoon Daff and all. The most beautiful day here, have been planting strange things with no name, in pots and look forward to seeing what they grow up to be! Also bought some juggling balls for my lovely sister in law in Dublin. We were all awestruck when she displayed her talent recently....lol....it will make her smile when she opens the parcel. Also got my hair cut and refused to let him have wine beforehand like he usually does. Re Taff's lovely deleted thread, well we can all remember what you have gone through and how very scary it must have been for you and the lovely Mr Daff.
