Oh No!!!! There was nothing on it that was at all contentious!! I am beginning to feel that GR have a personal vendetta against me.. I'll jot off a note to ask them why in a minute.

Taff, it's ok.... I know how you feel, I am really cross!! But I have calmed down enough to write them a polite note, but I couldn't remember the title of the thread, lolol

*A thread dedicated to me, Daff, was deleted last night/this morning. It is the second support thread for me in 6 months that has been deleted. There was nothing contentious, rude, argumentative or abusive in either of them. There was general chit chat, lots of Pam Ayres poetry, silly stories etc. The support from people who added to those threads kept me sane whilst I was undergoing the most horrendous treatment for Leukemia, and when I was seriously ill with infections, isolated in a ward on my own.... well, the thread was my lifeline. And you have deleted it. I am taking this as a personal vendetta... I have hardly posted for months, and to have two with my name on them deleted indicates that someone has a grudge against me. Please would you let us know why this thread was deleted? The author was Taff and it was a support thread for Daff cos the original disappeared into cyberspace. With regard Ann, aka Daff*

So... do you reckon that was polite enough? I did swear just a little bit in the original draft, but managed to calm it down in the end, lol

morning jgee... they probably won't.... so far as I can tell, there have been no complaints about the thread.... otherwise Taff would have had the standard e-mail saying there were complaints so it was whooshed, or words to that effect, but she has had nothing. That indicates no complaint, just an itchy delete finger on the part of a member of staff on clean-up duty!!

I'm afraid that I find it too much of a coincidence that two support threads for me were zapped tho, I'm pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, so how did two manage to be zapped *accidentally*?

Shall I sing a song and cheer us all up? Earplugs at the ready!!!

Good Morning Taff & Daff

What a damn nerve!

I did not add every day but I did send my best heartfelt good wishes now and again. How very dare they. Perhaps all of us that added to the thread should complain and bombard them with Emails - that will teach 'em! lol

Any way I hope everybody is feeling good, the sun is trying its best to peep through that thick blanket of cloud - I hope it succeeds!

Perhaps Wales has got all the sunshine this morning - if so, can we English have a bit PMSL.

Title of thread:- For our Daff,and page No,. ( which I changed daily).
My letter to Gr was along the exact same lines as your Daff, and still no reply! I bet they have all gone off for the weekend!
What I dont like is that if they feel that maybe a thread is getting to long, it wouldnt hurt them to PM the poster, i.e. me, and advise as such?
Oh , well, they cant keep a good girl down!LOL,
P.s.
btw, I have never been reported for abuse, or had an imposed holiday!LOL
