ooooooooooooooCHAIN OF LOVE AND BEST WISHES FOR CAZ FOR TOMORROW.oooooooooooo (((((((((HUGS))))))))))

HUIA, if you are looking in, can you let us know if you are o.k after the earthquake.
I am not sure if it's in your area, but I worry all the same love.

Sallie, I hope Alun was able to get his blood test done. Was it for his cholesterol,?.
Is there any more news on your house sale yet.

Marie, it's good to hear from you.
So you have some Swede and Danish ancestors. Have you had many problems in the tracing of them.
It's all well and good, down loading things like My Heritage, but it's the expence that comes with the upgrade, isn't it. Nothing that we want, is ever free,is it.
Has your son bought a house closer to you.

Sylvia, I have images of you and your OH rocking and rolling, on the ferry over to Vancouver. The song "I could have danced all night" or "Jitter bug Boogey" comes to mind.
Sorry to hear it was a bit of a rough ride for you both though. But gladdened to hear that you had an enjoyable time.
Unfortuately, memory loss will affect us all with time. But like my mother, she was unaware of it, it was just us on the outside that was affected by it.
And it is heartbreaking to see,I agree.

Joyce, thank you for letting us know about Liz. The poor girl has been going through a lot lately, and we do miss her lively updates.
Please give her our best wishes when you speak to her again.
Fancy you forgetting your Vitamin B injection. Mind you, I am surprised that the doctor or hospital, had not sent you a reminder about it.
I hope you both get an appointment soon with your doctor.
When is your dental appointment. I don't envy you having toothache,I don't know whats worse that or earache.

I wonder where Ann is today, she is very quiet at the moment, I just hope that they are both o.k.

Take care girls, I will look in later tonight. Love Mo xxx

Thanks Joyce, I appreciate that. I just hope and pray that all will turn out well for her tomorrow.

Not long heard from Liz, I've put a thread up on here, asking about Amokavid( Joan ) I'm concerned about her as I haven't seen her post for a long while.....Liz replied to it, saying that she hadn't seen her on any of the boards either.

It's really worrying with both Julia and Joan missing. Hope that everything is OK with them and their families.

Joyce, hope your toothache has stopped. Take care.

Love, Sallie.xxx

Hi everyone
xxx

Good luck Caz for Wednesday

We had a lovely weekend away, J&R are wonderful hosts. We have 5 other friends who live over there, and J&R had one couple for dinner on Friday, the singleton for coffee on Saturday morning, and the other couple for coffee on Sunday morning!

The ferry ride over there was a little rough last Thursday ............ it was very windy, so there was a bit of rocking and rolling

But the weather for the rest of the wekend was lovely. We went to bed every night with a forecast of snow, much snow, ringing in our ears ....... but every day it was sunny, dry, and no snow ................. although it was very chilly out of the sun!

The only distressing thing was seeing that one of our friends is showing definite signs of memory loss.

take care

I have seen Liz S.P.D. post other threads, she just hasnt come on here lately.

I caught another rat last night, I think it was a male, perhaps looking for his mate. I hope that is the last one, but doubt if it will be. Come winter they will be queueing up to get inside.

Hi To all my friend's
Good luck Caz for Wednesday I will be thinking of you also Dutch-and my had is firmly gripped to both of you however it could be a bit wet all that water between us.
Sallie dear, thank you for your thoughts, I am well but summer is a very busy time for me with the veggie garden I did beans yesterday and the day before I made plum sauce as well as visiting grandchildren and working in my native garden the bane of my life is couch grass it is so invasive
and difficult to get rid of. It is also time to prune many of my natives as many have finished flowering.
I also cleaned out my cutlery drawers and washed and shined the cutlery
I had a busy day, I have been working on my Swedish and Danish tree
I down loaded a free Programme from ( my Heritage) It is very good the only catch is the send you (Smart Matches) which are spot on they let you contact a few of them then they tell you that you must up grade to premium to be able to contact, and of course I cannot afford the cost of the upgrade. Bu---r,
Hi Mo, Jean, Huia , Ann Where do I go to find your Blog?? Has anyone heard from Liz Sparkly Purple Diamond lately.I used to get such a laugh from her descriptions of the OH.
M y son and Dau-in-law have sold their home and yesterday they bought a new one, It looks very nice. I am very pleased for them, Tracie is a stay home mother so the repayment on this home should be easier for them to manage and hopefully less stress for my son.

I must leave you all now as I have not eaten yet so must close
Love and Hugs to you all. , (((gentle hugs for Caz & Dutch)))

Hi Ladies, where has everyone gone to? Nice to see you posting Caz, and hope that all will be alright on Wednesday. I know I've alreday said that before, but I feel that it won't hurt to repeat it. Take care I''m thinking about you.

Ann, after reading the thread for Julia, earlier on this evening, I'm more concerned and worried about her now. I still just hope that she's received a ban from GR and that she and her hubby are both alright.
I'm sure that if Julia could get in touch with any of us, she would have by now.
I think it's coming up to four weeks since she last posted, isn't it? So I'm hoping that by the end of this week, we'll hear something from her.
I sent the letter again today, in a new envelope and with the full name that we think is her surname.

I wonder if Sylvia is home after their weekend at Vancouver Island and if they had a good time there.

Marie, we haven't heard from you for a while, I hope that all is well with you.

I'm going to make myself a cuppa now.....Alun can't have anything to eat or drink now, as it's after nine , he's going for a blood test at seven tomorrow morning, before he goes to work.

I hope everyone else is alright, speak to you all soon.

Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

I spent some time on FMP this morning trying to find some of Phils elusive Gt uncles and their children. I had found them yesterday and printed out the transcript, but the images were not available at the time so I wanted to get them today, but when I typed in the name, age, etc exactly as on the transcript it came up with 'no results'. I had to type in the Piece, Folio and page numbers instead to find them. So how did I find them yesterday? Weird. At 11 a.m. I went in to Papakura a did a little shopping and took some photos and had my lunch then went to visit Phil. On the way back I finished my shopping.

Sallie, I got the message from your friend and looked in the phone book, but couldnt find the people she wanted at that address, so I have asked her for more info.

Hi Linda, Richard lives in Langley, just on the edge of Slough, and about three and a half miles from Heathrow. The road he lives on is just off the A4, so it's quite handy for getting to a few places. He'll use his car to get to Reading, as the store has parking places at the back. I think each store have a number of parking places allocated to them.

I know when he worked at HMV at Windsor, they had four parking spaces allocated to them, and Richard was issued with a numbered parking badge, that he had to keep on display.

I've only been to Reading once, as you say it's a nice town with some lovely shops.

If Richard and Christie want anything special, they usually go to Reading,
they would sometimes go into Lodon, but I think it has become a bit too expensive for them.

I haven't done too much myself today either, cooked the Sunday roast, did a few odd jobs and spent a lot of time on the computer answering messages.

Love, Sallie.xxx
