Hello Girls,
Wonderful news about Jeff. Oh Jean I'm so pleased for you all. Still sending you all lots of positive thoughts.
Joyce still can't get onto GR, so she has asked me if I could let you all know, that she is going to be a greatgrandmother of twins, so that will be nine greatgrandchildren in all.
Sylvia, glad that your mammogram went well and that the results will be good when you get them.
It's late now, so I'll speak to you all tomorrow.
Goodnight girls.
Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Just read your post on the other thread Jean. So pleased to hear that Jeff is communicating (even if he is swearing! Naughty man!) ope he now goes from strength to strength and that you can relax more and get your own strength back.

Good evening everyone. Ooh Sylvia, you have made me go cold all over. The new machine sounds like a brilliant piece of technology. But it doesn't sound like that it will shorten the wait for results though. But I suppose if anything really nasty shows up, they will be able to react quicker than they normally do, even though the timing for that is not to bad is it. But, I bet it frightened the life out of you, when they called you back, to check your last result. I know I would have had to change my undies after a shock like that. lol
How fantastic that your OH was able to find his grt grt grandparents graves. It somehow makes you feel closer to them, doesn't it. I know when Shelly sent me the photo's of my grandparents graves, I cried my eyes out. Especially seeing their names on the graves. I knew exactly the dates of their deaths, but could not find out where they were buried. I was only six years old when they passed, and my mum never ever spoke to me about them. It was as if they never existed, so I was over the moon to find out their final resting place.
I hope you are all well over there in Canada. Whats your weather like at the moment.?
No news tonight from our Jean. I hope and pray that Jeff is improving. ((((((((((((((((((HUGS FOR THEM ALL.))))))))))))))))
Well girls, I will say goodnight god bless you all. Love and best wishes Mo xxx

Hi all xxx
well, that's the mammogram over for another year! They have a new machine ...... fully digitised, all hooked up to a screen, so they can check immediately and know whether they need to re-take anything
I was told I could get dressed and leave .................... on my way out of the door, I was called back. They had to double check the new pictures with my previous files before I could leave!
The machine did seem to squish a bit more even than older machines .... so I was a bit sore yesterday evening.
Now to make an appointment to see the doctor in 2 - 3 weeks (depending on when I hae the time :-)) to get the result.
Hopefully it will just be "she has to come back next year"!
Hope you are all well.

Caz, our orchids are very small, but certainly beautiful or interesting in the close-up shots. It is my husband with me by the plane. The pilot took the photo for us.
Jean has looked at my photos and left a comment so she is relaxing, I presume. Take care of yourself, Jean.
Ann, I will have to go and have another look at your site now.

Good evening Marie. I was going to say good morning, you are up early, then I realised it was evening for you as it is for me. Silly me.
I have been having trouble adding more photos to my blog. I did, however, send some old ones to a man who used to live locally, and worked on building the dams. I also googled Cossey's Dam and found a website with some pictures which included one of Huana Falls. It seems to be an English travel site so I sent an email giving him the correct name for the falls, Hunua Falls. He also had the picture on sideways so I suggested he turn it so people dont have to crick their necks to look at it. I hope he isnt too upset at my suggestions.

Sallie it will take a week or so to get all the results as they will go to different people.We can wait a little longer. How is Jennie doing Sallie?
Huia,I will try to get into your Blog.I haven't managed to get into Ann's Blog.I am having all sort's of problems with genes reunited, next payday I am going out to get a new thingy to put all my excess information, pictures and certificates on . If that does not work I am going to get a new server and more gigabite's and faster internet.
Hi Linda, we could all do with a bit of pampering, I would like a massage now and then but it costs $50 a visit which I can't claim any back.
Hi Mo, how are you, busy by the sound of it, if you were closer I would have you over to clean my windows I would have to be the worst window cleaner in OZ, I took the screen's off and washed the kitchen and lounge room, when I finished all the dust and dirt was gone but there were streaks everywhere, not a good look when the sun streams in through the window. :-S Hi Joyce, I hope you are able to get back on to Genes it is so frustrating, I like what they are trying to do but it seems to be causing a lot of problem's. Hi Ann I hope you are well, also Caz ,thank you for keep us updated about Jeff Ann you will have to send me your Blog website again and I will give it another try. Joyce, I have been trying to PM you. Keep getting the message about maintenance work!!!!
Didn't get the errands done, (got too tired) However did get washing on line and got it dried. So good to have a washing line after all these years.
As to Allotments... I don't have to have an Allotment to join the club. There are however quite a few allotment plots almost surrounding the club.. I imagine that there is a waiting list for them. In some places you can share a plot with someone else, i.e. have just half a plot each.
They are a really good idea, especially for people who want to grow their own veg. etc and have little gardens or none at all next to their homes.
All for now, Tess

Thank you Huia, looking forward to seeing your photo.
I had a call from Joyce, she's asked me to let all our friends on here know that she is unable to get onto GR, and will be in touch as soon as she can.
She doesn't want you to think that she is ignoring you all.
Goodnight to all our friends, I'll speak to you all tomorrow.
Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Evening everyone Had a restful day today, feeling a little under the weather, not sure why? Hubby is off for the next 4 days so he can look after me !!LOL chance would be a fine thing. Bless him he's already dozing in the chair after leaving for work before 5:00 am for the last 7 days. He needs the time off to recover.
Continuing Mo's chain of love and thoughts for Our Jean and Jeff.
Love and prayers for you both, in my mind constantly.

Hello Girls
I'm here Mo, sorry I'm late getting on here today, Jennie and Michael came and had some dinner with us this evening, and I was so tired afterwards that I fell asleep on the settee. Now, how lazy is that.lolol!! Alun is just about to go to the Model Railway Club, so I think I'll make a couple of cards, otherwise I might drop off to sleep again and then I won't be able to sleep tonight.
Caz, thank you for the update on Jeff this evening, pleased that it is good news, and now I hope and pray that he will continue that way.
I hope you yourself, are having some better days and not suffering too much pain.
Sylvia, I hope all will go well with your mammogram today. Thinking about you.
I hate going to the sort of receptions or parties where there isn't anywhere to sit. Alun and I went to a joint 50th and 60th birthday party last year, there were so many people there that by the time we got there all the seats had been taken, by the time we got home my back, legs and feet ached so much, I didn't know how to get comfortable.
Tess, you sound bright and cheerful, it's amazing how a bit of sunshine can make us all feel a lot better. Hope you managed to get all your errands done.
Marie, crossing my fingers and hoping that the results of Victoria's will all be good.
Your family reunion looks as though it's going really well. Are the people joining you all from Oz? Sorry I can't remember what you told us.
Also your singing for pleasure group looks as though it's going well, too. It's a good job that I'm not in it, that would certainly ruin it for you. I can't sing to save my life.lol!!
Huia, I would love to see the photos on your blog, if you don't mind. I loved the Christmas card you sent me, with one of the native NZ plants on it.....it was beautiful, and so different to the Christmas cards that we have here in the UK.
Jean, sending my love and prayers to you, Jeff and your family.
~~~~~~to Joyce, Ann,Jude, Linda. Hope you are all OK.
Mo. sorry forgot to ask if you have a darts match tonight. If you have, I hope your team will win.
Well , girls I'll say bye for now, speak to you all soon.
Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx
Hi girls. Tess, I know it's a bit late in the day, to be starting my washing. But the engineer came this dinner time, to fix the lock on my macine, and to change the rubber door innards. The spring had gone on the door lock. So I am very late getting the bedding washed today. Still it's a lovely day, and theres quite a breeze outside, so they should dry anyway. Are there very many vacancies for alloments round your way. They are fighting for them here where I live. Mind you, the nearest one to us was vandalised a couple of weeks ago, and all the hard work that people had done was ruined. Why the heck do the yobs get such a kick out of doing these things, beggars belief.
Joyce if they put you on any more tablets, you are going to be rattling as you walk love.
Sylvia, I hope the mammogram goes well. Ooooh I can feel the sqeezing now. No wonder you were knackered after all that standing love. Was there no seating arrangments at all then. Thats bad management, especially for those of us who suffer with problems,and cannot manage standing for long periods.
Wheres our Sallie got today then, SALLIEEEE put the kettle on love, it's a dry old thread this is.
Sending all my love and best wishes to our Jean and Jeff. ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS FOR YOU ALL))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I wont try the heart emoticon as it's not working again.
Love to all. Mo xxx
