Mo if you check on the announcements board you can see that the maintenance was not planned it was something outside of their control. Luckily I spotted it on facebook.
What a horrible day today, it has rained every minute of the day here today. T had a golf match and they still played (& he lost) although I think once the result was inevitable they walked in and didn't play the last few holes. Then he walked in the house right in the middle of coronation street which, as you know, was the only programme to watch this evening if you don't watch football (like me). :-) :-)

Well hooray at long last I have been able to get on here. Whats all this that they are doing maintenance work on this site......RUBBISH. Why did they not warn us beforehand that they were going to do it, then most of us wouldn't have thought it was our computers that were going wrong. Moan over girls. mwah.
How are we all today? I had to make an appointment for an emergency eye test today. I have had an awful headache since my accupuncture on the first of this month. Admittedly I do have to have new readers and distance glasses, but apart from that everything is fine with my eyes. The optician says I will have to see my doctor about it. I phoned the physio department, and spoke to the therapist who did my accupuncture, this morning. I have to go and get checked over by her at 8.00a.m in the morning, but she doesn't think it's anything to do with the proceedure I had done. So to be on the safe side, I will see her, and then phone my G.P. Oh boy, why does life keep throwing bad things at us like this I wonder.
It's been a thoroughly horrid day today, rain and wind all day. Some areas of Kent are under threat of flooding, but luckily for us, we are up higher and shouldn't be affected. (fingers crossed)
Take care everyone. Love Mo xxx

Hello girls. I spent most of yesterday on my computer, putting photos onto Facebook. Jean, you really must get a FB page. I cant put them all on my blog at present, far too much to do. I will try sometime though, as it is a good way to ensure photos do not get lost if the computer gives up the ghost.

O.K Jean, the kettles on, the chinese is starting to get cold now, so hurry up dear girl. Special fried rice, sweet and sour spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken, and for starters it's pancake rolls, and sesame toast, so hurry up my lovely as I am starving Did you see the flooding in Wales that was on the news tonight. I thought of you and J, when they showed it, and thought to myself, thank goodness you were not there at the moment. I am not sure what part of Wales it was though, as Roly decided to talk to me as it was on. Huh! it's always the same, I can't get a word out of him at any other time, and he had to chip in at that moment. lol What a boring night of T.V tonight, unless you are a football fanatic. It seems there is a football match on either BBC or ITV every night of the week. I don't mind if it's England playing, but am totally disinterested in other countries games. I think I will my head into a book this evening. Bye bye for now girls. Love Mo xxx

Thank you girls for your words of support. J didn't have the angiogramme done after all. They did a full body scan, and say that he has a clot nesr to his heart, and he has to wait a couple of days for the results. Hopefully they can clear the clot with blood thinning agents. Honest, kids, they are a worry to us when they are youngsters, but that worry does not go away does it,even when they become adults.
Linda, I am so pleased to hear that your daughter is home now, and that you will all be able to get away to Italy after all. When do you leave? I bet you will all watch your daughter like a hawk, watching what she eats and drinks from now on. No more curries and the likes for her now.
Sallie, I hope Jennie gets on alright at the hospital next week, and that they dont find any complications. She has had enough of them over the years as it is.
Ann, how much longer before your Lake District trip? Does it take you very long to get there from your place?
<3 <3 <3 <3 For Caz <3 <3 <3 <3 Thinking of you Caz xxx
We are off out for a meal for our grandaughters 20th birthday tonight. It should be a good night, as most of the family will be there.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend, and I will pop back tomorrow to see how you all are. Love and hugs to you all. Mo xxx

Hi Sallie She was able to come home this afternoon, thank you for asking. She is much better but still has some discomfort. We went to help out this afternoon, with the baby mainly. We hope she will get better each day so we can get to Italy for a well deserved break. She now has low fat, non spicy foods, no dairy. All to start for a few weeks, BUT NO Alcohol from now. She hasn't had any since trying for the baby, being pregnant and then feeding him. So not much different but apparently never again.

Good evening girls, Jean, it's good to hear that the family spoilt you for your birthday. It's no more than you deserve.
Thinking of Caz, and hoping that she starts to feel a little better soon.
I bet I am to late to wish Sylvia a happy break away at her cabin, but hey enjoy yourself Sylvia just in case I am in time.
I am doing a typical mum thing at the moment. Sitting here worrying, because tomorrow my son is having his angiogramme done. I am hoping and praying that he gets a good result. When I saw him last night, I knew he was worrying about it, he remarked that it would just be his luck for things to go wrong. Hope fully tomorrow my mind will be put to rest.
Sorry to be so downcast girls, I will speak to you tomorrow. Love and hugs Mo xxx

We're going up to the cabin on Thursday afternoon, returning either Saturday or Sunday, depending on the weather, and on what we get done.
We're not going to stay there, we've booked a motel room in the nearest small town (60 km away) for Friday night, and will get it for another night if we do decide we need to go in again on Saturday.
This is the first time we've had chance to get up there this year, and we want to see what shape it is in, and to see whether we have had any "visitors" (4-legged or 2-legged :-D ).
So, I'll see you in a few days.
Take care
